Fashion Favorites (w/e 9/16/23)...

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

#1 I love red dresses and this one has the perfect sleeve length for me so I'll take it

#3 Green is one of my neutrals and this jacket is my favorite color of green so it can be in my closet too. When I have a choice of colors, I always gravitate to green.

@MacDuFF Hey, Cuz! i was perusing through your fashion pictures and here are my picks this week:

#3-The green coat with matching bag is a perfect shade for fall.

#4-Love those jeans,

#8-Purple loungewear? Who knew? Purple clothing is hard to find so I snap it up when I do see it.

#13-That grey sweater looks soft and cozy.

I'm seeing several wide leg pant outfits this week. I bought my first pair at Marshall's for $20 recently. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this trend. I wear mostly straight leg and bootcut styles so I haven't worn mine yet. Need to be brave and come up with an outfit and wear them.

The red dress in #1 is very pretty, but I'm not a maxi dress person.

I think the purple lounge set in #8 looks comfy, but I'd prefer it in black, grey, or navy.

I like the striped sweater and white pants in #11.

I like the outfit in #12, but I wouldn't belt the blazer. I've tried that a few times and didn't like the look.

Love the textiles in 17 and 18. The boho dress brings back memories of wearing that style in my sister's wedding in the early 70's. My dress was a skirt and blouse but same general style. Her dress was white eyelet. What's old is new again. I really don't need to revisit that trend, lol.

Wonderful choices @MacDuFF as always!

Perhaps today's torrential rain is affecting my judgement but today I'm loving the long black military jacket in #5 and the soft, casual but lovely grays in #13.

The beautiful gold earrings and bangles stood out in #1. I like the bit of green we're seeing in the handbag in #3 and I love the blouse. None of the shoes caught my eye...

@KathyM23 @MacDuFF Yes love the green jacket too. I bought a 1/2 zip in this color at zulily over the weekend. Green is a fav or mine for sure.

My favorites: Numbers 3 (me, I wish!),..... 8 (beautiful shade of purple), .... 10 (High waist trousers, of course) .... 12, ..... 16
