Fashion Favorites (w/e 8/19/23)...

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

#6 These are barrel legs, which I always called tapered, and which I don't wear, but otherwise love this outfit

#7 Using Coco Chanel's advice, I'd remove the earrings

#9 Canadian thrifter...I don't like the pleats, but otherwise this is a nice looking thrifted outfit. Emmy Deveaux bodysuit, Gap shirt, Twik jeans, Isabel Marant belt, Tommy Hilfiger bag (all thrifted), J. Crew shoes (retail)

#14 Pants too long, and I wouldn't wear that color shoe, but otherwise I LOVE this...gorgeous color!

I would wear 11 and 12 if I was somewhere fun. They are spectacular dresses.

#7 I would keep the earings and lose that pendant thingee. I might play with opening a few more buttons and wrapping the pearls without the pendant. (Can you tell I don't care for the pendant with that outfit). If i was going to wear a long necklace, I would want more color, maybe chunky wood pcs, turquoise, red jade...etc. etc.

Numbers 11, 15 and 16 and the Queen's lovely dress are my standouts. I also agree about the color blue in the first photo, so lovely!!! Thanks for the fashion stroll, always fun to see different styles and designs!

# 1 and # 14 my faves. That cobalt blue color is gorgeous and my most flattering color. But you have a lot of winners today. You have great taste.

#10 is a classic look and is one of my favorites this week. I'd change out the purse to a quilted Chanel. #11 is beautiful!

Good morning, @MacDuFF My picks this week are:

#1-I love royal blue! The sweater and matching beret are adorable.

#2-I also love a colorblock sweater, but would put a tee underneath it.

#11-Cut off 2 feet of fabric from the red halter dress and it would look fabulous on me!
#16-Who doesn't love a pink trench coat??

I love or like all of them. My favorites are. 1, ,6, 7, 9, 10. That's how I dress. I could put those outfits together from my closet. I particularly love #1. That blue is gorgeous and the hat makes the outfit. Love the clean, classic look of #7. I do like #11 but I never show my upper arms.

I like #10. Black and white go well together.

The outift in #7 is nice, but too much jewlery makes it look gaudy. I like the bracelets, but the large earrings and pendant is overwhelming. Lose the pendant or the earrings, all the outfit needs is one piece to make it work.

My favorites this week are #4 & #5. Classic clean lines are definitely my style. I would prefer a longer pant in #4. I'm not really a vest person, but I've read tailored ones are trending. I like the way it looks in #5. Maybe I can find an inexpensive one to try?

I love the blue color of the sweater in #1. I'd never wear that hat though.

I like the color of the dress in #11. The dress isn't my style, but she looks fabulous in it.

My favorite color is blue, and that deep cobalt in #1 is beautiful. My other 2 favorites this week are #12 & #15. The gray sweaters in #15 remind me of a sweater that I loved and kept for many years.

Once again, the clear cut winner this week is #13 Queen Letizia; her fashion sense and style are impeccable.

I also love the color in #1; is it a bluish violet? Stunning.
