I'm watching a video of A521211 it's a sherpa bathrope and pant set. The host says if your sick of going out with a cardi on because its not quite cold enough for a jacket, you could put this rope on as your outerwear. Please stop!!!! do not wear bedwear as outerwear!

I tend to believe you can discern the host's lifestyle and background by their "how and where to wear" suggestions.

Shoot, I've seen women at the gas station in hair curlers and pj's like night gowns.

In Walmart I've seen men in pj bottoms

today , anything goes. Young girls wanting to advertise in their short shorts covered by a longish Tshirt and it

looks like their bottom less.

only way you know they do have the bottom covered is ripped hem hanging strings.

Going out in pajama bottoms to walk the dog or get coffee, male and female, is quite prevalent in my neck of the woods.

What does someone so disturbed by this do when they face a real crisis.

I've worn a mohair throw...as a shawl....while driving thru the Eastern U.S. (A lot of us "Westerners" don't even own winter clothes)

I was only in a Walmart one time (while driving through WV), but from what I've seen online .... anything goes with "what to wear in Walmart."

I saw a delivery guy from Amazon last week delivering around 7 am. He was wearing Christmas pj bottoms, slippers and a sweat shirt. Why the sweat shirt I don't know. Even at 7 am it has been in the 90's. It was pretty funny.

Unfortunately, these days people wear whatever is "comfortable" regardless of how it looks. Spend some time at an airport and it is eyeopening!

I'm sure that lovely host wouldn't substitute that robe for a cardi. she's so stylish.

I must say, I have seen a *supposed outerwear jacket from Bumble Bella that looked like it was a robe to me.

I guess maybe the same material is used and they feel these items are interchangeable??? IDK

I do know that I would not wear that out. *I wouldn't wear either of them out.

I personally don't really care what people wear. What makes an item "bed wear" as opposed to everyday wear if it is the same style and just a different fabric?

As long as they're not exposing their "assets" it doesn't really matter.

I have seen women of all ages and sizes wearing leggings and jeggings that were all up in their business as day wear out in public more often than not.

Leggings were never supposed to be worn as regular pants, but that hasn't stopped everyone from wearing them. They might as well go nude and use body paint.

I'd rather see the robes and pj's.

IMO sometimes the hosts get brain dead for something different to say and they say anything to fill in the time. To talk for several minutes on one item and come up with an original has got to be very difficult.

Since DH likes to do the grocery shopping ( he loves to cook, so he,s in charge there ), I wait in the car.

Have to wholeheartedly agree with you on the leggings that no top worn to cover the assets ( pun intended ).

If these folks could use a mirror to see what the rest of the world is subjected to, they might be embarrassed. Too, when they chose leggings in a skin-tone color, it becomes worse.

I think the hosts are just trying to say something to reach out to as many people as possible. Just covering those who wear robes out and saying "if you do this" here you go. I have to say that I have a Barefoot Dreams long cardi that looks just like a bath robe to me.

Even when reporting for Jury duty, the summons will clearly specify the dress code prior to reporting, I have seen some come in wearing flop flops, torn jeans, tank tops, etc., not very respectful.

@ALRATIBA. I used to go to Walmart for groceries every week, before they started pick up service. I never saw anyone dressed in atrocious or inappropriate clothing.

I often wondered why some of the leggings I've seen on QVC had a pocket on the thigh. Never did see the models with anything in that pocket.

BUT - I recently saw someone with rather "healthy" thighs with a phone in the thigh pocket of her slightly darker than flesh tone leggings.

@SharkE Funny, but I was thinking about hair curlers the other day. Remembering when women of my mother's age used to tie a headscarf around their curlers to go out.

Also, Queen Elizabeth and all of her headscarves.
