A QVC First for me

I have been a QVC shopper for probably over 15 yrs but this was a first for me ! I ordered a Lands end top on sale for $19, size small in the color burgandy (first time for this brand) My order was delivered today and when I opened the bag, it was a blue print top, Lands end, size medium ! What the heck ? My order form showed the size and color I ordered so somebody was sleeping on the job ! Back it goes !

@Goodie2shoes - Make sure, if you ask for a refund (instead of an exchange) that you don't get charged for the return shipping!

I wonder who got your burgundy top?

🎁 I've already decided not to do any Christmas shopping at the Q this year. Between the impending UPS strike, and the numerous "errors" in the shipping department, I'm not willing to take the gamble. I'm going to get out there and do the "shop local" thing. I'm actually looking forward to shopping again and hand picking special gifts for those on my list. And I've missed going into stores to see them decorated for Christmas.

I've received Incorrect orders, twice in the last month. What's funny is that the label on the plastic bag is correct, but the item inside is not.

All the mistakes may be the result of the laying off of 400 employees. Not enough employees needed to accompllsh the job. Hurry, hurry to get things done and not enough time for attention to what you are doing Just trying to get everything done. I have been there, done that and the stress was enough for me to retire a lot earlier than planned.

Leaving at the end of the day with my desk piled high with no end in sight.

I'd never order Lands End from Q, Kohl's, Macy's, etc. It's a lot less expensive to use promo codes and shop on the Lands End website.

that has happened to me...and unfortunately when it has happened the items I did want were sold out and I was out of luck. I was not happy. And it happened more thanonce.

@CalminHeart I saw this mentioned by others so I checked out Land's End website. I could not find anything cheaper that I wanted. I'm not a Lands End type of gal, but the few things I found were very expensive and excluded in their sale/discount.

I have purchased two items from QVC that were the Lands End item, they were cheaper than the website. I did buy them at a Lunchtime price though. If you shop wisely, QVC will offer great prices on all brands.

@Steffdoggy10 I've had the same experience several times. I blame it on having received an item that was returned in the wrong bag, either intentionally or accidentally. Also to blame would be the QVC return process that doesn't catch the error.

@Goodie2shoes Consider yourself lucky it's your first. Just today I received another wrong order. The label is correct even the plastic the order in is correct but inside was something totally different and of course I called CS and the item I ordered is no longer available in my size and color. This has happened to me too many times. The people pulling these orders are asleep at the wheel. This item was delayed in shipping, I took 18 days to get here on,y to be the wrong item🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I go back farther than 15 years. . this is the first time Q has failed to give me my return. I returned a PWL Flag Sweater as it was too small. . . used the method always used and they say it didn't get there. I put it in with three other items each one with their own bag and label and incuded in each was the appropriate marked page to indicate to credit my card. . .you know the drill. ALL of them were credited. . . but one. I have written many times to the Team to fix it. They have always been helpful and kind. However, I was told in a curt email that they don't do that anymore. So I am out $80. No more will I order and see how I like it. . . in fact I have only two vendors I will consider ordering from. That may end too. . .

@SunnysMom Did you send 3 different items in one package or box?. That's unfortunate that this happened to you. I have found it's just more efficient to send them back individually. Given the haphazardness of the people who work in the warehouses, who knows what happened to the third item.

Did you look for promo codes on retailmenot or other such sites? I prefer retailmenot but know other sites offer promo codes. I almost always find good promo codes.

This is July so it's just summer sales. It won't be long until you can find more 40% and 50% off promos.

I am with you. I like to "shop local," try things on & see what I am buying in person. QVC was my go to shopping, but I am done with that. We have a beautiful downtown square and it's so nicely decorated for the different seasons.
