Maybe that dress works as a performance dress, but other than beautiful fabric (and most likely excellent intricate workmanship) nothing about it makes me see any other reason anyone would want it.

Still - the dress. the designer, and the wearer have attracted attention so maybe it has achieved their purpose.

No, other than the color, I do not care for it. It has too much going on. My eye does not know where to look. Between the top, the back( is that a big bow) , and the bottom I am dizzy.

I love it. The color is beautiful and although a different but divine design she actually wears the dress rather than it wearing her.

It doesn't hurt that she is drop dead gorgeous.

She's beautiful, and her pose in the photo shows off her shape and the dress. Still, I don't care for the dress. IMO the dress would be better without the huge back piece and the poufy bottom, but then, it probably wouldn't get the press intended. I think it's strange how far away he has to stand from her because of the bottom of the dress. Looks like it's probably difficult to walk in and sit down.

To me it looks like a gown my Barbie doll wore with that 'mermaid' style bottom. Very dramatic in it's appearance.

@paixmcdao I think he is only 10 yrs. younger than her but he looks much younger. It always shocks me for a minute when I see them together.

As to the dress, I like the color but not the dress itself. I think she is just beautiful.
