Getting so tired of Capri/Crop Pants everywhere on the Q

I don't think I am alone when I say, The Q has a ridiculous amount from every designer, these crop and capri pants. I loved Isaac's 24/7 stretch cotton blend regular long pants, but he has not done them in a least 6 months. What gives?

Also no cotton or cotton blend to choose from anyone else. All I see is different "polyesters" masked as these other fabrications, when in fact it is polyester. These designers use, "liquid knit", "flatter fit", rayon.. What people fail to realize is that these are all made from chemicals. There are very few natural fibers at QVC now and the prices for these synthetics are getting outrageous for what it is, and 90% of it made in China

1. I like capri and crop pants. They are a great choice for hot weather when a full length pant would be stifling. And since I don't wear shorts, the logical alternative is a capri pant.
2. Polyester is my friend. It prevents wrinkles, keeps me from having to constantly iron or steam my clothing. If others don't mind looking like wrinkled messes in all-natural fibers, good for them. Also we do "realize" that polyester has many different names and iterations, and is made from chemicals. We aren't idiots.
3. Personally I don't care where my clothing is manufactured. There are a million issues in this world to get passionate or angry about. I pick and choose very deliberately which ones to take on. This isn't one of them.

@Hoping for the best You'd better have an attitude adjustment because summer is still a long way off. There will be many more short pants to come. Long pants are too hot for many climates.

The price of cotton has soared. Have you noticed the price of jeans lately? Are you willing to pay $50-60 for a pair of cotton Capri pants? That's why you're seeing so many clothing items made of synethic fibers.

I personally think Isaac's 24/7 solid color pants are among QVC's worst items. No matter how you launder them, the result is a horrid wrinkled mess. Maybe too many complaints?

@Hoping for the best I've donated ALL my capris, crops, etc. and in the summer wear a dress or skirt which I find to be much cooler than any sort of pants. As for poly, there are different qualities of poly and some, to me, feel like silk. I don't like poly/span in the summer but if it's combined with cotton or rayon, I'm fine with it. I don't like all cotton for many reasons.

Try shopping Blair which has many long pants at reasonable prices. Or Macy's, or JCP, or etc., etc., etc.

Finding capris that don't flare out at the hem. They look awful on anyone. What happened to a straight leg pant of any length? I prefer ankle length but have almost given up on those...need some cotton capris. No poly aka Saran arepa in our summer climate.

I don't care about buying long pants in the summer. I want straight leg capris with a zipper fly. Unfortunately, Blair sells pull on, that's why their prices are lower.
And most things sold on QVC and elsewhere are made in China.

@Kachina624 I ordered one pair of Isaac's 24/7 stretch pants. Really cute design with pearl buttons at the ankles. But the fabric was awful. It was very stiff. The pants did not fit right so I returned them and never washed them. Those 24/7 pants were hyped up so much by the hosts. I did not see the allure. Never ordered that fabric again.

I only wear long pants. The best time to purchase is in the early fall when the fabric is still lighter than the winter weight. I stock up for the year in black, brown, navy, and sometimes a lighter khaki is available. I use my tops to give these basic pants a seasonal look.

I am not young. I do not wear polyester. I wear all cotton or mostly cotton.

I wear shorts, skorts and skirts, pedal pushers, capris, crops, and long pants. All are appropriate at different times.

No need for anyone to have "an attitude adjustment". You can wear what you like. I, too, am tired of the hype around " only order of the year" for shorts, capris, pedal pushers, ankle length and whatever else they are selling. There are many retailers to purchase whatever you like.

I'm relatively short so wearing capris or pedal pushers make my legs look very short. I stick with full length pants, skirts, or dresses. Summer is hot but everywhere I go has a/c and I'm usually cold.

So, are you against the materials used or the crop, capris, etc. style clothing? Sounds like it's the material you don't like.

@Hoping for the best I'm probably just as bored with sweaters, coats, scarves and gloves as you are of crops and capris.

Like more and more millions of people in the US, I live in a climate where crops, capris, and occasionally ankle pants make far more sense than full length trousers..

I appreciate QVC for carrying many different styles, colors, and fabrics appropriate for where and how I live.

I'vr seen this same complaint way too many times in this Forum and I hope the buyers continue to ignore these pleas. Lots of what the Forums say they should do would send me and many others shopping elsewhere.

I don't begrudge the crop lovers their style of pants, I just wish there were more warm weather long pants available. Some fabric lighter than jeans would be nice.

Agreed! I don't like the look, and I would never wear them. I know I'm in the minority, but that's just my personal preference. It just seems like the Q is overloaded with them. Probably because it's summer.

Just think about all the money "they" are saving.

..... Cut off a few inches of fabric from thousands of pairs of pants .. "they" are probably saving million$.

... insisting they are chic, trendy, current, cute, comfortable, etc., etc.

And, you will look AMAZING.
