LOGO Getting Too Expensive!

Love Lori Goldstein's fashions and different clothing, but come on - $70 for a top?? And made out of that cotton slub, which is very thin and wrinkles easily.

Wish she would go back to that beautiful beefy cotton that she was using for t shirts, it washes up lovely with never a problem.

And whatever happened to the slim leg jeans? The 'boyfriend' jeans she is continually showing now have huge legs, and I am only a size 8 - 10 in pants, but the legs are so large I can't wear them, they look ridiculous!

Never was a fan of her things---but had to chuckle at the outfit that Rachel was wearing in the opening of the show.---Did she not look in the mirror first?? Reminded me of my 5 year old daughter dressing herself in all sorts of colors and patterns---taught her to say--"thank-you, I dressed myself" when people would compliment her on her bizarre choices--but at 5 that was cute----and then Lory gushing at how great it looked when she was dressed the same weird way!!! too much----

Every clothing line that has slub knit, in my opinion, is using the chintziest material ever! It's like see-thru tissue paper, and they have the nerve to charge exhorbitant prices for it like it's something 'designerish'. Haha. Some people may be fooled by it, I'm not one of them. LOGO is waaay overpriced just because Lori was a designer. Her designs are the same old thing. Shark bite, angled, tie dye, lace and then pile them all on top of each other for a 'street person' look. No thanks. She used to have some unique designs that I liked. Not anymore.

I use to buy so much of her clothing. I prefered her rayon blend tops but I liked some of her slub knit, and that fabric has been around for a long time and has been pricey. I remember taking my girls when they were teens to Hollister. The kids loved these thin shirts that, at the time, I thought were chintzy and expensive. It grew on me and I enjoyed a lot of LOGO slub knit.

The problem I had with her line was I did like the layered look, so every top I would buy I needed one of those tanks with a little lace or a curved hem for underneath. THAT is what became expensive for me, even at Ebay prices. Before I sold everything I had 35 LOGO tanks (that is a very embarrassingly low estimate too). No, I didn't buy them all from QVC, most were from Ebay. As time went on Lori would change the length of her tops so I would have to buy ANOTHER tank that was either longer or shorter than what I had. When my daughters went through my clothes they said, mom, you have a tank in every single color and some are the exact same tank. Well, they weren't exactly the same, some were an inch or so longer, or shorter.

I'm kind of over her line now. Just a handful of items I kept.

I picture the LOGO team sitting around a big table saying, "what are the craziest patterns and colors we can throw together with the cheapest material, the stranger the better, these people will buy anything. The higher the price the more they buy."

I believe Lori was a stylist before introducing her line of clothing at QVC and she had name recognition in the industry. I think she is insufferable--everything is "perfection." I have never purchased her clothing so can't speak to the quality, etc.

I have a lot of LOGO clothes - buying them since she first appeared on QVC. Her style works with my style!

I like LOGO jeans. I only wear straight and wide leg - so the boyfriend jeans look / fit / feel great. (I turn down the hem ... hate the look of cuffed jeans.)

I'm in the midst of switching out the winter clothes and "found" four more pairs of LOGO jeans. I wear jeans all year around - so I was surprised that they were put away with summer clothes! It was a really pleasant surprise.

I have so many LOGO tops - I really don't anticipate buying any others - unless something "irresistable" shows up!

Love her LOGO LAVISH line ... they really "jazz up" a look.

LOL - I've wondered the same thing!!

'These people will buy anything' is probably a slogan here - and I still don't see any models in my Size 8 - 10, it's either Amy Stran (Size XXS) or Size 16 last night - I think I will not purchase anything until my size is represented!

And I refuse to go in for that layered look, wearing two or three tops together is just ridiculous and, in my opinion, all about making money!

I've always considered LOGO expensive and her fabrics are not the highest quality. I had a few of her tops and wore them frequently, but after a couple years they looked really shabby. I only have one of her tops in my closet and probably won't buy again

Their prices are over the top now. A TSV is only $5.00 off the regular price in many instances. Quality is way down and shipping is ok, but the return charge is ridiculous. I havent dealt with many companies that charges return shipping like the Q.

Trust me, if its something I really love, I will purchase, but before I do I check other websites first. It use to be the Q had things that I couldnt purchase close to home. Like Louis DelOllio. Bradley Bayou and a host of other designers. I still wear my leather trench coat from Bradley Bayou. Its gorgeous. But more and more I have things that are sub par, or used or defective in some manner. I recently returned a blouse that must have been a return as it had a hole in the upper arm of the sleeve like the width of a dime. Terrible

Her shirts/tanks colors were never what I expected when got it home. Dull and always looked washed out. stopped buying aftere bad experiences.

I can't see myself in the spread she did for Versace but lots of people liked it. So maybe it just isn't for you.

I purchased 1 tank top many yrs ago and was disappointed in the fabric quality plus color was so drab dull. Top was also so long on me...just didn't work out. The layering of many tops has never been my style but she is on alot so her line must be selling well. I never see anyone where I live dressed with 2 or 3 tops on.

When her shows come on I usually am stunned at what she and the host are wearing to kick it off! I then change the channel...that line is not for me.
