The taxman cometh. Actually, we have until Tuesday, I'm told, to get them done, but ... so as not to be seen as a procrastinator, I'm devoting today to doing ours.

I found an aran-knit cotton sweater in two colors on final sale at Macy's ... I like that they can be worn through spring and beyond on cool days ... love, these:

I've been worried about you ... so glad to see you, too! Hope you're okay ... what's new and exciting?

I received my covid booster last week and it knocked me for a loop ... add to that I have a rotator cuff injury to my right arm and will be going to physical therapy for lord knows how long.

Who says we "age gracefully?"

Here's the dress ... not sure I'm going to keep it when it arrives, though ... having second thoughts on the material ... rayon/spandex. I thought it was a cotton blend.

Good Saturday morning! The sun is finally shining here, although I can't complain about the much needed rain. Yesterday was the first spring rain we've had this year, a nice warm sprinkle. I'm already in trouble with AMS this morning. I love Leah's outfit. I've never bought IM clothes so am not sure about sizing but I really like that blouse. Not sure about the linen/viscose blend; maybe by the time I finally decide, my color will be sold out. Enjoy your day, whatever you do.

Good Morning @SoX and @LTT1 (long time no see)

The weather has been fantastic this week and I've been working in the backyard instead of letting my fingers do the walking and shopping. When I had all of the trees and shrubs removed along the back fence in January I paid for stump grinding. Well, there were many trees and shrubs and lots of what I call stump grinding waste left behind. Perhaps I should have addressed the mess right after it was created however it was the middle of January and cold outside.

The stump grinding waste really hardened up after repeated exposure to rain and snow so I've been raking layer by layer all week and bagging the waste for weekly pick up. Because of the weight of the material (even dry) I can't fill each yard waste bag as much as I would like and I put 6 bags out two weeks ago, 8 bags out this past Tuesday and I think I'm up to 12 more bags in the garage. I wish I could say it was done. I have more to pick up today and then I expect to fine tune the ground next week.

Privacy fence installation will commence on May 1st. I am sore and I ache but I tell myself it will be worth it. I was never crazy about mulch because it draws ants around here. After all of the raking and hauling I've done this week if I never see anything resembling mulch for the rest of the my it will still be too soon.

It is surprising to me how sore my hands get from what I consider "little things" such as tearing up boxes!
What you are describing, however, makes me hurt just thinking about it!

The weather in PA has been mild ALL WINTER. Last week it was in the 80's...kinda scary, if you ask me!

@LTT1 We had summer like conditions all week and are expecting rain tomorrow and snow on Monday. I've lived in Michigan since birth and I know how the crazy the weather gets. That's why I've been working like a Trojan to get the back of the yard ready before the bottom falls out temperature wise.

Because the former owner lived to plant things against a fence and right next to each other, there were more trees and shrubs cut down than one would expect for the length of the fence. When they worked on the mulberry tree stump it threw so many shavings that the tree crew missed a stump from the shrub next to the mulberry. I unearthed the stump this week after lotsa raking and I am now trying to get the tree contractor back here to finish what he started because he missed one. I was supposed to get a response/determination yesterday. Yea, didn't get it.

I'm a Leo/Virgo cusp baby and it doesn't take much effort for me to step into somebody. Nine days out of ten, Virgo rules my behavior and I'm really hoping that I don't have to 'go there' with the tree guy.

Just wanted to pop in to say Hello and wish everyone a good, relaxing weekend.

Mine hasn't been so great so far. My wallet was stolen yesterday during a wedding rehearsal. I've been on the phone canceling credit cards. The hidden $50 emergency money won't kill me, but credit cards? Driver's license? Someone knows where I live, too?

I NEVER take a purse, but was in a rush yesterday...a lot of rain and just ran out w/o my "fanny pack", belt bag, whatever they're called now, but it's ON me and I can keep track of it.

I have one more bank card to contact this morning. Meanwhile everything is temporarily frozen and cash only until new cards are issued. A few sites keep my numbers on recond, so canceled those as well. It was a late nite.

My "fashion saga" begins with this:

The fit of the joggers and hoodies are so great...HOWEVER

I wanted the outfit (hoodie and pants) in red and gray.

Nearly every single piece N had sent was FLAWED!

They did go way on sale, but it is exhausting to keep returning the pieces. The DKNY company, I thought, was better than this. I expected more.
The red jogger pants had a line (as in permanent crease) across the front of both legs. After washing it didn't come out. Next set same.

Finally got a shipment without the crease.

So I ordered the gray. Joggers-fine. Jacket has a tuck in the front seam right in the front by the zipper! Another pkg is sitting out in my living room and I'm literally AFRAID to open it!
