No more ordering clothes or shoes for me!

I ordered a pair of Denim and Company shorts. They fit, but the pockets won't lay flat. Going back. Also ordered a pair of Idina Menzel gauze pants. Fit in the waist, perfect length, but you could have fit another person in the hip area. Going back. So, it cost me $20.90 cents to try on two articles of clothing. And I did go by the "click here" measurements. I've purchased a few Kim Gravel pants that fit me well and I love and a couple of her tops that were fine. I always had a great fit with the Linea line, too. Shoes another story. After three returns on shoes I gave up on those. Not the Q's fault there. I have wonky feet and really need to try shoes on.

I've had great purchases on Dyson vacuums, various kitchen items, and even some wine I did like, occasionally skin care and two Dooney bags. I need to stay in those lanes and away from clothing and shoes.

If the sizing is off you should mark them defective and get the shipping waived.

That's too bad. That's why I stick with the 4 or 5 QVC clothing designers that I know work for my body. I know there will be no unfortunate surprises. I let the others go by regardless of how good their designs look.

I hear you those shipping and returning costs are a killer!

Also, I like having pockets in things but a lot of times they just ruin the look. I've especially noticed this in dresses with pockets, they almost never lay right.

I agree about sticking with the lines that work for you. And when I feel it is fair I do mark the return as defective and explain why. The Q has always been fair to me on returns I labeled as defective, so no complaints there and although I had to email the social team, I did get the return fee refunded on several items. The last two, I don't know. Maybe it is just my body shape or whatever as far as the shorts. However, the gauze pants I do think they were not cut properly. However the four reviews on them were five star.

I wish I had more will power. I have on the way a new leather skirt and OTK high heeled boots. Like I really need more.

I just took a quick look at Appleseeds. Some really nice blouses and great prices. I'll have to check it out when I have more time today.

It's terrible when you have to pay the S&H to return things! It really adds up! I rarely buy pants on-line because the sizing is always so different. Tops I do pretty well. Shoes -- never, unless it is a particular style that I wear all the time and am just re-ordering.

Does Appleseeds still have a catalog? I used to get them but haven't in ages. I didn't think the company was still in existence. I purchased a winter robe from them which I absolutely love but it is getting worn.

I have a pair of LOGO crop jeans that fit really well and I wrote down the important measurements for me....waist, front rise, low hip and thigh measurements....now if I want to place a pant order from QVC, the click here measurements on that garment have to come very close to that well fitting pant.

I have discovered that measurements are all over the place even in the same line, let alone different designers. And yes I know the fabric makes a difference on the sizing.

I am between sizes --10-12 and medium and large, so buying with out trying on is really hard.
