Looking for a few basics for upcoming trip. With my budget, I decided to check out OldNavy clearance. Believe it or not, i left the store with two white blouses -- one button oversized long sleeve with cuffs and one with open v neck with short sleeves; one eyelet tiered top with eyelet straps; one white tshirt; two long sleeve ribbed henley shirts (beige and tan); a white tshirt midi dress with pockets; and a pair of flare jeans. The total price was $34.01. I am watching the Q and one pair of leggings is over $60.00. Love to watch but cannot afford to shop.

I shop online at Old Navy all of the time because I am very tall over 6 ft. I buy jeans, activewear, pajamas, coats, skirts, dresses and other clothing from Old Navy. I have been very happy with the quality of the clothing. The best thing about Old Navy is the clothing is long enough for my very tall body!

@soozer : Thanks for your post because I never think about going there. No particular reason although I still do most of

shopping at home (still taking a lot of precautions). There Is a new one in a new shopping center not far from me (I live in the country) but this will make me get out. I just cannot justify the Q's prices any longer.

My Grandma taught me that you get what you pay for. That doesn't count for sale or clearance. I've gotten a lot of really good bargains at Old Navy. If you know your fabrics you can tell what's going to hold up and what's not. I sold clothes for 20 years and can usually tell just by touching something how it's going to wash.

I have said many times that I'm a fabric snob. LOL Expensive doesn't always mean better. Some of the prices on the Q are really getting out of control. The day I pay $70 for a t-shirt, you'll read about it. I wonder sometimes if the vendors aren't taking advantage of inflation, rising gas prices, etc. JMO

I am a big believer in their slub tees and sweatshirts. Cannot beat their prices. Agree, you can tell if something will last. I mostly shop ON online because some of their stores are extremely messy.

I shop Old Navy online all the time for myself and my grandchildren. I love it.

@Spacrazy What a haul and a great price! If you can catch ON on sale...even better. I've purchased a few items there....mostly casual play clothes and I've been really happy with my purchases. I bought a few items recently at TJMax and got really good buys (a couple of items retail over $100 and I got for $20 or less). I tried on a pair of Anne Klein flares (never wore before) and they fit and look great - hubs loves them!

I know what you mean about prices. i don't purchase a lot of clothing and usually want a good quality material/design that will last. Glad I've been able to pick up a few items that freshen my closet. Everything has skyrocketed.

@soozer Well, years ago I would go into Old Navy and never found anything I liked. Never my style but it was next to a favorite store of mine so I would go check them out every now and then. I have family that loves Old Navy but they wear different styled clothing as myself.

After reading your post I feel I need to revisit Old Navy. Maybe they could have something to fit my lifestyle. Glad you got such great deals. That always makes us feel so good.

I love Old Navy. It's my go-to. Very often they had good sales, and coupons were you can get big bang for your buck. If you sign up for their emails, you can get free shipping as well.

Prices have got unreal on the Q, then add shipping. Our JCP has the best clearance I've seen anywhere. D&C hasn't interested me at all this year. Wild prints & high prices.

I don't ever find anything in the store, but I find lots of cute stuff on the website.
