There was a C. wonder line at QVC a couple of years ago. I have quite a few of their pants and blouses.

It would be great if this is a continuation of their style and fabrics. Loved their clothes.

@ALRATIBA - I remember that Q brand , but was Christian Siriano the brand rep/designer? I think it was someone else?

@Chi-town girl I think C Wonder used to be a QVC vendor. Preppy style and well made garments. Sounds like Christian Siriano will be designing for this resurrected line. Christian Siriano designed selective pieces for j.jill.

@Hilery - I hope Christian will have the freedom to give us some interesting designs, not 'like' the other established/house brands at HSN.

This raises other questions...I don't see an upcoming TS event for IMAN.

And haven't seen Jason Wu at Q in awhile

I don't know .... I generally only pay attention to the brand name, not the people behind the brand.

BUT ..... according to Wiki ....

The President of C. Wonder was Andrea Hyde until March 2014. Also, a past president was Amy Shecter. The founder J. Christopher Burch began his career in the fashion world in 1976, when he launched Eagle’s Eye—a company that eventually established retails stores across the US.

His name is J. Christopher Burch. From Wikipedia:

"In 2011, he launched C. Wonder, an apparel, accessories and home decor retailer.[4] In July 2015 the C. Wonder brand was purchased by Xcel Brands."

Looks like Xcel is relaunching the brand with Christian at the helm.

But the Q rep on air was not Burch. Wasn't his name Brad?

When C. Wonder was sold on Qvc the rep for the brand at that time was Brad Goreski. He was one of the hosts on The Fashion Police on E! years ago. He was the creative director for the C. Wonder brand.

C.Wonder was originally created by Tory Burch's ex-husband, but he ran the company into bankruptcy, and Xcel then bought the intellectual property rights, trademarks and designs, and brought the brand to QVC. Xcel also brought to QVC Isaac Mizrahi, Judith Ripka, H by Halston, and Liz Claiborne New York brands. He recently also bought out Logo. As @SilleeMee wrote, stylist Brad Goreski was the creative director and on-air personality at QVC in its prior iteration. I liked and bought many of the fashions. It launched on QVC in 2016 and I made my last QVC purchase in January 2019. Dresses for $23! Imagine that. Must have been clearance.

I have loved and purchased Christian Siriano designs, so definitely looking forward to the relaunch!

I would be surprosed for Siriano to come on air. He has a lot of real designing to do.

Brad and Lori are just stylists.

And Isaac was a great designer, but I believe he has admitted he doesn't like the work. He has always wanted to be an entertainer. He gets entertainer gigs every once in a while. I don't think his heart is in fashion.

I think Siriano is very much into fashion! He is always taking on challenging design work. I love that about him!

Christian WILL BE on air at HSN!!!

Xcel Brands announced the launch of C. Wonder by Christian Siriano, Siriano was named the creative director of the new brand, which will include ready-to-wear and accessories collections. It will launch in the spring of 2023. Siriano will continue to design his own collection while working with C. Wonder.

Siriano will serve as the public face and voice of the new brand, which will include appearing on HSN’s broadcast and streaming service

“Bringing Christian on board to lead the transformation of C. Wonder by Christian Siriano is another key step in the creation of a live-selling ecosystem that connects our brands directly with consumers,” Robert D’Loren, chairman and CEO of Xcel Brands, said in a statement.

“Christian’s sophisticated aesthetic, creative vision and vibrant personality have made him one of America’s most respected young designers and we’re confident he’ll bring a renewed sense of excitement to C. Wonder as we solidify our leadership within the fast-growing livestream marketplace.”

C. Wonder products are currently sold at Walmart and Nordstrom Rack.

Xcel Brands also produces and distributes apparel under the Halston and H Halston labels, owns a minority stake in Isaac Mizrahi, and is investing in livestreaming tech platforms and partnerships, among other ventures.

I have three pieces from the C. Wonder line, purchased when Lisa Robertson was still hosting on QVC. I still love and wear them. They were well made and fit me perfectly! I am looking forward to seeing the new C. Wonderl line. Thanks for the heads up!

Correction: my memory is catching up with me....I think LR may have already left the Q when C. Wonder was still available. Sorry about that! Anyway, I look forward to seeing what is coming for us!

@Chi-town girl Should be fun! He has TV experience, he was on Project Runway in 2007 and won, and I think that is how he became famous. I have never watched that show, but I am sure that experience will make him good to watch!

He is one busy guy!

ps - Interesting Xcel owns minority stake in Isaac, I thought they owned all. Maybe that just means Isaac retains certain rights to do projects outside Xcel.
