I happen to like shag carpeting. Seriously, even though I don't have shag carpeting at this time. But, if I were looking for a large area carpet, I'd probably choose shag. Don't know which color......maybe black, or a brick red. I'll have to Google search various shag carpeting colors. It's making a 'come back', from what I've heard. Same with patterned wall paper. Damask, baroque patterns, etc.

Anyway, I would wear these shag pants around the house, and even for evening walks.

I'm sure they are warm, and most likely very popular now a days.

OMGosh......I Google searched : Shag area carpets and Home Depot popped up........

Fantastic shag area carpet designs and colors. One is a 'swirl' I believe called Fiesta. There are other patterns, too. Very modernistic - abstract - artistic looking, imo.

Love the swirling vibrant colors as an 'accent'.
