About 20 years ago I bought 2 velour pant and top sets as a Christmas gift for a beloved family member.
These remind me of them.
I miss the diversity of QVC's former fashions.
I've read many threads to this effect and all the responses. I used to tune in to the fashion shows to see items I would never see at my local malls. All these high priced items they now show are in any store anywhere, Ross's, Walmart, JCPenney, belk's.
Why would I pay $40+++ to get the same thing at a fraction of the cost? And now unlike way back when I can get the same stuff delivered at that fraction.
I don't get this shopping channel anymore.
I think if I do a thorough search I may find some hidden clearance gems but I don't want to dig that deep into a search.
Just sayin. Scratching my head over the fashion shows.

The CEO made the decision last year that going forward, they would emphasize very casual, loungewear types of clothing. Boy, he wasn't kidding; they went overboard. Of course any woman could have told him the trend would fizzle and reverse itself, which it has. Nobody wants that stuff anymore, especially since they mostly pushed brands known for cheap quality.

That's what happens when you hire a hardware guy to be CEO.

Really? I would have thought they'd have understood that '20-'22 that's what everyone was looking for but what a snooze these shows are.
And on clearance I can get a drawstring hem lounging sweatshirt at $33+ and s/h = about $40 for a sweatshirt I can buy anywhere under $25

If I had never watched QVC fashion shows before, they couldn't entice me to purchase 🤨

IMO, ALL the shopping channels are obsolete and not long for this world.

@Midmod Yes, I remember when QVC sold unique items at reasonable prices. Quaker Factory comes to mind with the beautiful button covers she had on many pieces. Couldn't find that stuff in the local mall. No longer true.

QVC should become online only; get rid of the hosts and fancy sets and pass the savings on to consumers.

Where do you shop and find great items at great prices? Do the places where you shop offer petite sizing, not just pants but for long sleeves as well? How is the quality & fit?

I would love to know but I hate going into stores hunting for something that will fit me. I can remember the days of bringing a dozen pairs of jeans into a fitting room (maybe not all at once) just to find a single pair that fits my body.

At least here at the Q I can see the measurements for each garment and I know (usually) what will work for me or not. It certainly beats schlepping lots of items into a fitting room...at least for me and I suspect many others as well.

I have mobility issues that prevent me from walking and standing to browse in stores anymore so QVC has been a boon for me. They and a couple of other online sites have been my only source of clothes for years. Dillard's is weeping.

I didnt give my direct undivided attention to the Anybody show but I didn't get the impression that this hour offered any petite sizes.
But petite sizes can be found elsewhere online. I am specifically referring to this Anybody show at 4 pm.
I remember a leisure line QVC used to carry called Sport Savvy. You could buy 3 pc sets with little embroidery details just great quality, fun sets you could wear out and look put together.
This Anybody line doesn't hold a candle to it. And Sport Savvy had petite. Sorry for those who disagree but the Anybody line doesn't look very special to me. I have seen a pair of Anybody workout crop pants ( I guess that's what they were -i can't think what else they might have been worn for) at Goodwill recently and the quality didn't look great.
I just think QVC is selling more inferior quality than they used to for inflated prices. My opinion

I too can no longer go shopping in stores, so QVC has been good for me. I even buy some meats. Cuddle Duds are my choice for velours, price is great, washing easy in cold water, comes out great, also warm and so comfortable.
