Susan Graver Pants

I know that Susan Graver is one of the most popular "designers" on QVC, but for my body, I cannot for the life of me find a pair of her pants that fit me properly.

Granted, I wear a size large and Susan is miniscule, but really, I don't understand if she designs her pants to be the same size in the hips and waist, of if I am just terriblly misshapen.

I ordered a pair of pants that the waist is so big, when you walk the pants work their way down because the waist is so large and hangs open in the back.

I'm returning them of course, no harm, no foul, but it took weeks to get them, there was no return form in the package and the final price was $57. You would think there would at least be a return form included.

The returns are now done by going into your account, clicking on the item and click on return . You can print out the form. It's processed a lot quicker this way in my experience

@Georgiagrama, I find that several designers' pants are too big in the waist for me. I'm a little pear-shaped, but I don't think I'm too out-of-proportion. It's disappointing and unflattering when the waists are so loose compared to the hips.

I like having the label and the return form in the bag. Some people don't have a printer so that's inconvenient. Also, in my experience, some orders have the label in the bag and some don't.

I thinks pants are just generally hard to fit. I received some Logo pants today that I am going to return. They were just too snug from the knee up. Many folks apparently like for the upper half of their pants to fit tightly or snug. Not me. So I get to pay for return shipping. Sigh.

I can't wear her pants - they appear to be cut for someone who has "generous" hips and thighs. I'm narrow.

LOGO and Renee's Women With Control are the best on QVC.

I don't have great luck with her pants either. For one thing they are ridiculously long in the petite sizes and I must always hem them so I avoid them. So much of her stuff is liquid knit, in which you'll freeze in any but moderate winter weather.

I tried twice to find a pair of SG pants that fit and just couldn't find any that would work. I tried a L and then a M, The waist was huge on both sizes I ordered and came up to my bra line! I just don't look for pants in her line anymore, but I used to buy many of her tops I would wear to work under a black jacket....

In this day and age, everyone should have a printer in their home.

@Trailrun23 I just don't understand the huge waist. What shape would that work for?

Oh well, I printed out a label and fortunately, my printer had ink, so they will go back tomorrow.

I did like her basic tops and have several, but when I ordered a white one, it was completely see thru. Seems the fabric has changed in these as well.

Quality is lacking with lots of products these days

@lavenderfields I dont understand either. It seemed that the pants took an extremely long time to get here, so , the only thing I can think is that the Susan Graver products come from an entirely different warehouse facility.

San Antonio Gal - Really? I don't think anyone should tell people what they should have in their homes. I suspect, even in this "day and age" there are a few individuals who don't have computers. And that is really their choice.

@ALRATIBA I agree. Generous hips, thighs and the waist seemed to match the hips in the pair I received.

You may find it unusual, but many of my friends do not even own computers, so they have no need for a printer. They prefer life without them.

@Georgiagrama @ALRATIBA I have always had good luck with Logo pants, too. That's why I bought them. These, however, were not like her others. And, therin lies the frustration. Sizing can vary greatly - even among the same brand/line. I know they're probably just made at different places, but the inconsistency in sizing doesn't help me as a consumer.

why? other than a potential return without a preprinted one enclosed, I have zero need for a printer. I am not buying a printer for Q returns. others may have other reasons they don't have a printer. not your place to make such an edict for others.

Again I am the opposite. I have a hard time finding pants that do fit me in the waist, I find them too small. I am a medium and Graver pants used to fit me. Now the waists are a tad too tight. I think those who carrying their weight in the hips tend to have smaller waists. I carry my weight in stomach and waist. Size large is too big for me and mediums have been too tight and uncomfortable above hips.

When I purchased a new MacBook and iPhone, my older printer didn't want to play well with them. I started to order a new printer, but began thinking of how seldom I would use it, now that I'm retired.

The ink would probably dry up in the thing between uses. It would be wasteful for my situation. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

So, I, too, object to the necessity of having a full functioning home office to be able to return an item to QVC, or anywhere else.

No, with all respect I disagree. It is presumptious to assume or expect "everyone to have a printer in their home."

They require upkeep, money and time. I use to have one but when it broke and my mother's broke constantly trying to fix it, I thought, I'm not an office for the convenience of all these companies that expect us to have a printer, a fax etc.

Not everyone comes from the same

economic class also with the excess money to have a computer, a printer and its supplies and upkeep, something no one needs to live. At an office, yes. At home, no.

It shouldn't be a requirement.

When I returned one thing to QVC recently, I called them and they sent me a return label. They should include them in everything they send. But then they would be paying for that, not the customer which is not what they want to do.

Another reason QVC in my mind makes it not so convenient to buy from anymore. I'm not saying I don't or won't just I try to order the few 5 or so things a year to be something I'm pretty sure I won't return.
