What shoes look good with capri pants?

I keep seeing QVC hosts wearing dressy high heels (like pumps) and Capri pants----and I personally think it looks ridiculous. I favor sandals and low heels with capris. What do the rest if you think?

I would wear the wedge above... But, I like to wear ballerina style flats look good with them also.

I like a thong sandel or a wedge without an ankle strap. IMO the ankle strap breaks the line of the leg and makes it look shorter. Again IMO.

Do not like to see any athletic shoe with crop or capri pants.

Platform sandals look nice with capris. I prefer sandals, flats or wedge shoes for the summer casual look. I agree that 4" heels look out of place. I don't look to the hosts for fashion sense, after all they are going for a look for tv.

I think it depends. I definitely like the high heel look with ankle pants. Capris - maybe not.

For me, capri pants are casual, so heels with casual pants seems off. My lifestyle is decidedly casual and active, so no heels while I am out working in the yard, playing around the pool or running up and down stairs preparing food for a bar-b-que. However, the shoes pictured above would look nice.

I like to see a wedge or even a flat shoe. I think pumps look silly.

I agree with OP. I wear casual sandals, maybe with a small heel but mostly flat, with capris. They (not QVC, but B&M stores) used to show dress capris with a suit jacket for office attire. Horrible.

I wear sandals and preferably platform or wedges to make my legs look longer and not chopped off. Personally, I don't like the look of ballet flats or closed shoes with them but that's my preference. I also don't like the look of walking shoes/athletic shoes either with them. I like the look of heels but I am not comfortable in them anymore.

I like platform wedges best with capris.

Love the green wedges terrier!

If I'm going very casual, I like a thong-style sandal with a small wedge.

I don't like the dressy heels with capris, like what was worn on am style. I prefer a flat sandal with them.

I don't care for capris but I agree with flats or sandals with a low wedge.

Can't stand the look of high heels with capris or jeans but I guess lots of women like that.

You should do what I do. Wear the pants to the shoe store and try on various styles until you find a look you like.

IMO high heel pumps look a bit ""street"" to me when worn with capris. I think any kind of sandal - flat or wedge - or an espadrille or ballet flat looks better.

I wear flat sandals with jean type capris and a sandal with a low heel for those that may be dressier.
