recieved my TS G by Guiliana dress,

i ordered this dress in 3 colors.. i looked at the reviews. not extra favorable. (yes, i think i know why)

The good: colors are nice. This fabric does not wrinkle. Wore one out today, very pleased with it. i am shorter, 5'3" and a 2x. fit was great, except a little low in the front for me. don't have much in the bosom area. i wore with a cami under it.

i think that the reason the reviews are so mixed, is this fabric is very different from her other dresses. (i have 3 or 4 others) this in not a dress you can not dress up or down.

the fabric is very casual, almost gauzy like. Very lightweight, perfect for hot humid louisiana weather.

the little cap sleeves are just right, where i don't feel like i am wearing sleeveless which i don't like. you could wear it with or without the belt.

for me, this is definitely a keeper.

That sounds like what I thought it would be. Bet it will be wonderful come August. The drawback for me and why I hesitated buying it was because of the low neckline.

I got mine a few days ago, and am pleased with it. A bit low cut, but I might wear a cami under it. I don't think the fabric is too thin for a warm weather dress.

will wear it on Mother's Day. After I actually wear a garment out and about, I have a better idea of what I really think about it.

I received this pattern. I'm 5'2" on a good day and ordered the petite XS (my usual size). I love the length, and I don't think it's too low in front for me (I'm pretty flat-chested). I love the light fabric, but I was hoping it'd be softer. However, if it had been her G luxe fabric, or whatever the bamboo rayon is called, it would definitely wrinkle. Glad that I picked this one up!

@pinkmochi Thanks for posting the photo, since it seems mine didn't post. I got the lilac print, also in petite XS. Im 5'4".

I did wear a skinny tee under it....it just seemed a bit low cut on me. I was going to be in a big group, helping serve food, pick up plates, etc. I knew I'd be doing a lot of bending!

it was so comfortable. I appreciated that the fabric stayed wrinkle-free after almost 90 minutes sitting in the car to get to my destination.

@september I was having a hard time deciding between the grape shibori and the black palm. After trying it on, now I wish I had bought both! I like that I can wear the dress with flip-flops or heels.

I only tried the dress on, so maybe I'll change my mind about wearing a tank under the dress once I wear it out.

@pinkmochi Try it on, stand in front of your mirror, and bend over! That did it for me...showed off a bit too much. Didn't want to be flashing my nephews at the Mothers Day gathering!
