Just an FYI for those who are fans of the Denim &Co. original waist in the indigo denim..

I had to replace some of my indigo denim original waist pants. Because of the QVC price increase, I tried a similar style from Blair. They only come in three denim colors.

Blair's are a few dollars cheaper - but if you buy one pair at the regular price the second pair is - half price - and free shipping. So for less than $50 I got two pairs of dark indigo jeans, that would have cost more than $77 from QVC.

$35.30+$3..50 shipping =$38.80 ---- times 2= $77.60

They are numerical sizes. I wear a medium and bought size 14 and the fit is perfect.

While the style is the same, the fabric is a bit heavier. And the front of the pockets is faced.

I remember when those D&C pants were $22. I have a couple and the last ones I bought the sizing was off.

Blair has become one of my "go to" websites. I have found the clothing to be well made and the prices realistic. Currently, they offer free shipping on orders over $49.

I have several pair of their knit corduroy pants along with a couple of pair of cotton corduroy pants. They fit well and wash well and under $30.

Blair quality has very much improved, and Denim & Co. quality has lessened.

Because if normally have to hem my pants I have seen the poor workmanship.

The last pair the length on the legs were not the same and there seams that

needed to be redone. But there were on a savings special for the color

so I kept them.

It amazes me how women will pay higher prices for loyality to a brand or a station and get less quality.,

Blair always has specials and free shipping if the total is over a certain amount

and its nots $100.00

My other favorite site is Appleseed. Three trips to Italy and the suite case will

all Appleseend things.

@ALRATIBA : Thank you for the information on your post. I don’t know why I’m so hesitant to make the change. I have loved Denim & Co.”originals” for so long now and have many. I’m needing to replace a couple of colors and they’re never available in my size (I know crisis in the industry). I’ve stuck with this brand cause never have to worry about fit. The sizing and quality are dependable and I wonder if that can be matched.

BTW the pricing is getting crazy so I guess that’s worth trying your suggestion.

While I have never worn any Blair items, their adjust-a-size pants and shorts were my Dad's favorites! They lasted a long time and they were the only brand he would wear! And once you get on their mailing list, you are on forever! LOL! He passed 7 years ago and i still get their catalogs and emails every so often.
