Helen Mirren In L'Oreal Paris Fashion Show

In Paris today. I love her and she is a free young spirit who can really do anything. Eye makeup isn't my personal taste but Dame Helen does what she wants👏

I do think the suit looks cute on her, and I understand that it was styled to an extreme for a runway show.

I agree with you @Greeneyedlady21 The eye makeup probably worked on the runway, but not in the photo. She is beautiful, and her body is amazing. I like the suit on her, but wish she had a more elegant makeup palette.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think this is an awesome look! Almost all of the time, I think these super rich famous people are looking for attention anyway that they can get it, which can be very well true in this case. And I personally like a conservative fashion style and natural looking makeup. But in this case, I feel myself wanting to say silly things, and meaning it, like "You go, girl" and "Rock on, age warrior". Very cool.

I applaud her for going out of her comfort zone and trying something new. She DOES look fierce and no matter what her makeup or outfit, she is beautiful and talented. She could have declined, but I'm glad she didn't. She is ageless and graceful.

@ECBG Not proud to say it but my thought was "mutton dressed as lamb." I think the worst way to dress is to dress too young. The contrast to me is far worse than being a little more "matronly" than your age.

Her reverse cat eye makeup is very popular right now. I would say her's is very exaggerated but it could work nicely when applied to a lesser extreme.

I would be terrified if I put her in those shoes and then she fell and broke a hip!

I say whatever you want to wear is good, but those eyes are a definite no for me. I like the suit, but the shoes have to go (at least for me).

The makeup is bad. Her lashes look like spiders, and the overall effect is more aging on her and highlights wrinkles.

The outfit isn't bad, though I don't know how she can walk in the shoes.

She's an actress playing a role. Quite frankly, I'm jealous. She's 5+ years older than me and I seriously doubt I could walk in those shoes.
