TUNICS all the time!!!!

Why does it seem that the majority of tops I’m seeing are tunics? And most are not in petites, which makes us shorter girls look ridiculous. Please, please please less tunics and more petite tops!

I know. I was just thinking I was not going to buy anymore tunics. I only wear them with leggings around the house so I have more than I need. When I go out, I want to wear something less casual. I have been getting some nice regular length tops from Appleseeds and Lands End.

Also no more tops that are longer in the back, no huge florals, no more camoflage or animal prints. Give us some nice classy looking items that won't be out of style in a couple of years.

I actually love tunics. I am a petite and all of the tops I have bought from QVC are tunics at least they are on me @ 5'1 (and I have bought quite a few this year) The tops I bought fit well so I hope you can find something you are looking for.

I find lots of tops that are not tunic length, but I am tired of the high-low hemlines.

I agree tunics are great over leggings, but I don't wear leggings every day. Ironically, I'm not considered petite (5'6") but the first thing I check is the length and now order Petite Plus Sizing so I don't look as casual. I really feel for you petite ladies, it must be disappointing to see a top only to find out you can't get your size. Plus sized women struggle, too. I've found so many tops I like, but no inclusive sizing.

If people only realized that when you wear a long top streached over your bottom it looks hideous. You look awful from behind, thinking you have it all covered up. Actually you have accentuated the not so great part of you. Land's end has almost every item in petite, and lots of classy stuff and beautiful cashmere.

Would love to see the tunic trend go away! I am 5'4" and the so-called tunic length looks like a dress on me and is overwhelming. I need 25-26 " in a top....getting harder to find.

I've never been a fan of tunics or leggings for that matter. It's just not a trend that ever caught on with me.

I'm 5'5" and narrow body, long torso and wide shoulders - tuncs are fine with me. I like the way they look.

(I don't wear leggings or skinny pants.)

I am 5'4" and I strongly prefer tunic length. Shorter tops often look very cheap.

I may only be 5'2 but I don't discount every tunic! It depends on where exactly they hit in length and whether or not they have any shape. Many things to consider

And the right fabric can always be tucked in.....

It is the style. Buy what flatters you.

Agree... tunics never worked on me and I only wear leggings for fitness- Much prefer a bootcut stretch pant, but don't wear them in public. I seriously wish the legging-tunic thing would go away!

I love tunics especially because my legs are thin.

I think they are popular because they are more flattering to most women who carry a few extra pounds. Often those pounds are carried below waist which in my opinion accentuates that area when you wear a short top.

I like tunics. I wear them with leggings, jeans, trousers, and over dresses. Everyone is different.

QVC is really outdoing itself with the number of new tunic length tops and toppers

@KKWA I think the people that like these tunics are the non-curvy people, trying to hide that they have nothing going on.

Anyone with curves knows long tops tend to look tent like.

I understand many people like the long tunics, but I would like to see some other things too.

How did you decide "It is the style"? I only see them in QVC. I guess you mean QVC style?

@busymom22 Wearing a long top around the biggest area makes the outfit look like a tent. It is not going to hide how wide you are, it will accentuate it. Better to wear a shorter top with a fitted bottom, which will not add any volume.
