Watching Jane and Isaac and she is presenting a snake print fleece pullover. Yuck, Yuck Yuck ! I hate anything snake print ! I love prints overall but when it comes to a snakeprint no way ! I hate snakes period (was that hard to figure out?) Just wondering how many love snake print anything or what is your favorite print if you have one ?

I noticed that Talbots has snake print jeggings, turtleneck, vest and a dress. I wondered who would buy those. They must be fashionable right now.

I like small prints...not animal print in any form.

I like snake print in handbags and boots. Sometimes it looks nice in tops, depending on the style.

I think snakes are fascinating; that probably has to do with whether one likes that type of print.

I like a solid neutral color textured snake print in shoes, boots, and belts, but I would never wear in it clothing. I don't like the black and white snake pattern. I had a pair of neutral light tan snake pumps I loved, but the heel was so high, I just couldn't wear them anymore.

To me snake print is just another animal print so I like it in moderation. I had a snake print handbag some years ago that was fun. I don't like real snakes but a print is ok with me.

Prints I like:

Abstract prints of all sorts (Attitudes and Tolani style prints).
Geometric
Stripes and zigzag stripes (Missoni style)
Paisley
All animal and reptile
SOME tartan style plaids
SOME tie-dye - the big colorful ones

What I absolutely don't like:

Floral
Ditsy prints
Border prints
Most plaids that QVC sells.
Medallion prints
Placement prints

Its a matter of being able to see and appreciate the beauty in nature. I'm not crazy about snakes either but I think the skins of some species are spectacularly beautiful in color and pattern. I love the snakeskin patterns but am not crazy about leopard.

I love animal prints on the animals but not on humans. As far as snakes are concerned I hate hate hate them. After spending time in the hospital getting anti venom because one bit me I don't even want to think about one. @Kachina624 I agree that some species are spectacular.

I can't recall how many years it's been .... maybe 12 or 13 .... I took a master's class with Ruth Marshall at Lion Brand Studio.

She's a textile artist who duplicates animal pelts / skins- with knitting needles and yarn.

Here are some of her snakes.

There's a whole gallery of pics of her work. You have to see them in person - she does fantastic work.

@ALRATIBA How interesting. However there's not much you can do with a long skinny knit piece. How does she use them.

I lived in the land of coral snakes, a rural area in the piney woods North of Houston. Our neighbor killed one. There's another snake that resembles the coral... here's a poem you say to tell the difference.

Referring to the order of the stripes, "red touch yellow, kill a fellow". They're lethal.

I envy you taking her master class I bet it was very enjoyable and what a concept.

I like animal prints in general, including some snake print. I also like tropical prints, geometric prints and, for some reason, large polka dots. Not a fan of tiny prints.

QVC is really overdoing the animal and snake prints this year. Same with camo. I would like to see more subtle classy prints for a change.

Of all the animal prints--snake prints are my fave---not a fan of any of them really, but do have a few small items as an accent, mostly on shoes or sandals--- and real snakes--don't bother me at all!

Fiber art is "art" .... like other arts. It's displayed in galleries and other places where art is displayed. At one corporation where I worked in SF, we had a very large wall hanging in the hallway leading to the exec offices.

Prudence Mapstone is another fiber artist. Take a look at some of her work. I've taken a master class from her also - at Lion Brand.

Google "fiber art images."

ETA: Some of it is made to be worn!
