I think I am really done ordering any clothes from QVC. I ordered a summer shirt the other day, cute, but I received it today and the size is ridiculous. I know D&C tends to run big but I ordered an XS which I don't wear in store clothes and it looks like its at least a L. Tired of the shipping charges so I think I am done. Why do they make everything so big?!

I know I have ordered D&C in the past and some of the stuff ran large but this is really unwearable. The only other size was XXS and I don't see how it could have been much different. The only clothing I see that is fairly true to size, a little big but not bad, is Susan Graver. But yeah, I think I am done, especially with this brand. Plus it was supposed to be soft gauze and it is anything but.

I just said this to myself the other day...no more clothes from QVC!

I ordered the skinny tees TSV and a Denim & Co. jacket. The skinny tees are supposed to be a one size fits all - I'm a size 10-12 and they were horrible on me! Every lump and bump showed and for the total price with shipping and tax added of close to $40, I packed those puppies up and will head to the mall to get simple layering tees that will cost a lot less and won't show every last roll and bump on my body!

I haven't ordered from Denim and Co. in a while and the jacket was HUGE on me....I always wear a small in Denim and Co. since they do run bigger and a medium is always too big.

Over $10 to ship both back...I can't keep doing that so will not be ordering clothes for a while...(but I know I'll be tempted again, probably!)

The last clothing purchase I made the smell coming from it when I took it out of the plastic was outright awful. It smelled of literally bug spray and I think a lot of the Denim and Company clothing is sprayed before it comes to us from China. I did order some clothing from Liz and that did not have the bug spray smell.

Denim and Company's XXS is equal to about an 8 in brick and mortar stores.
Jackie, you didn't answer jazzmom's question. Did you look at the online garment measurements to make sure you got the right size? Did you check the measurements before you ordered? Do you even know that the garment measurements are online? Read the text describing the item; at the end you'll see CLICK HERE. You'll see all the measurements you'll ever need. It's best to first measure a well-fitting garment from your closet and compare with those of the piece you want to buy.

I'd like to put my two cents in on jazzmom's question: I ALWAYS check the garment measurements, because a size 10 or medium, etc. in one item of a particular line is not necessarily the same as a 10 etc. in a different item in that same line. However, my problem is when none of the ACTUAL measurements of a garment when I get it home are anywhere close to the garment measurements they are supposed to be. I've had to send so many Denim & Co jeans back, and now capris, because if the hip is supposed to be 39 and the ACTUAL garment measurement is 37-1/2" - what good does it do to check the garment measurements? Too many things are so far off they might as well not even post measurements on anything anymore-they aren't what the garment measurements show, they aren't what the QVC size chart shows, they just don't match any measurements whatsoever. So I'm another one of those people who is swearing off ordering ANYTHING from QVC, hopefully for a long time....

I always look at the on-line measurements and compare to a similiar item in my closet. If the on-line measurements are different than what I receive then I call CS so that I can send it back on their dime. Why should we have to pay return postage due to their lack of quality control? Until it hits them in the pocket, they will continue as they do now.

We can't trust QVC's measurement chart because their clothing is made in so many different countries.....some in Mexico, China, Turkey and on it goes. Metric vs our standard - cheap fabric vs high quality fits differently. I've given up on Q's clothes too - do buy some D&C jeans and capri - but that's about all and I have an adequate supply for now.

Also so tired of D&C and all the bright greens/red/orange colors - I want soft pastels for summer and even for the other seasons. They look like a child's coloring box.

The reason I asked is because I buy almost all of my clothes at QVC and I always check the garment measurements before ordering. I buy a lot but very seldom ever have to return anything. I find the measurements to be very accurate. I don't actually measure the things I get but I can tell by the way they fit that they're accurate. Most of what I buy is Denim & Co., with a bit of others thrown in. They're so consistent that I usually don't even try them on until I'm ready to wear them.

Recently I bought Liz Claiborne leggings, and based on the chart for them, an XL should have fit - wrong, I was swimming in them, and had to return them.

I learned my lesson and I think the posters on this thread have good input/advice about many of the brands sold here. I don't know about the Linea line, that is something I'd like to explore.
