New, from Lauren Ralph Lauren in "lemon rind."

"Valencia Cape Back Chiffon Gown"

I think I don't have any more "gown" type functions remaining, but there is always the "opportunity" to chaperone a prom. The last gown I wore was for a black tie wedding a few years ago.

Does anyone love this?

Just to me, those panels hanging down from the shoulders are very old fashioned. I don't like them but that's me.

this may not be a color for everyone, but you could say that about every color. This is really beautiful and rich, I think the problem will be less the color than the design and it seems it takes a tall thin person.

Beautiful dress. I think I could wear that color, but I never wear sleeveless and those things hanging off the back would be problematic.

First...the color... Pretty in a very "decided" way but I could not wear the color

Second...the style...I think it's beautiful and looks like it could be worn to host the Oscars! However, I agree, not seeing events requiring a gown like this.

This dress is a ringer for the one I wore to a prom in 1969 with the exception of the color. Mine was a soft pink.

New? Nah, this is a recycled design.

The color is great for me. I get more comments when I wear yellow than any other color.

The dress - definitely could not wear it. Too bare. (I have surgcal scars - must have sleeves.)

It's a beautiful, no gorgeous gown, soft and feminine! (if I am allowed to use feminine anymore) While I like the color it's not one I can wear.

oh my goodness..I wore almost an identical gown to my brother's formal wedding In the early 80s. I loved the color and received compliments. I am 5'9 so could pull the look off.

And no it was not a Ralph Lauren . I bought it at Bonwit Teller.,

I would prefer a lighter shad of yellow but I do like the dress and it does remind me of a Greek goddess look also!!!
