Should be 'Leah Loves Ugly Shoes'

Sorry, but I'm not in my 90's yet so, these shoes do not appeal to me.......How about something fashionable for a change with a heel higher than a quarter inch, and that goes for Jane too!!

I'm not 90 either and I rarely wear heels. You'd probably think all my shoes are ugly. I think I'll survive the disappointment.

Likewise, to each their own....... but I would hope that a program featuring shoes would have something for everyone.........

I'm not 90, either, & usually wear casual shoes just because I can. But I have to admit the offering so far isn't very interesting. ITA with OP that they should have something for everyone.

The OP's statement was totally uncalled for. I don't particularly care for the style, but I am sure Leah was doing what was required of her by her employer. If you don't like it, just stay away, far away.

I always put on my 4 1/2" heels when I'm playing tennis or basketball or golf. My falls and bruises have become the talk of the neighborhood! BUT SERIOUSLY, I understand that QVC is planning a 97 hour marathon SHOE WEEKEND so that every single solitary human female walking the face of the earth will be able to find at least one shoe that satisfies her need. What a glorious weekend that will be!

Could we just ease up on the "ugly shoe" comments every time there is a shoe program on? I have not seen any that appeal to me either so far today, but no need for this type of negativity on such a gorgeous day. Thanks, and hopefully you will find something more to your liking either here or elsewhere.

Except for Isaac's shoes, QVC presents the most unattractive shoes I have ever seen. No, I don't wear 4 " heels. There is a middle ground of really cute, fresh and fashionable shoes that Q only presents by Isaac. The others are for 'comfort' only. And please, spare me the comments about 'insulting those that like Q's shoes." This is an OPINION board.

I own a pair of Isaac's shoes. Cute...YES! Comfortable....NO! That being said there are a lot of cute wedges, sandals, etc. on the Q website. If not, the Internet is very, very vast! I am sure you can find something.

Two things made me break my "I'll never wear flats" vow I foolishly made in my 20s:

1. Menopause. Constant bloat, back aches, etc. just made heels seem silly.

2. The sight of women's feet when they are in their 50s after wearing high heels daily for 30+ years. Let's just say, it wasn't pretty.

I'm not 90 yet either - just about 80, though. And I rarely, if ever, have a need to wear heels. When I do, they won't be four inch heels- two at the most. I'll wear heels to church, a wedding, a cocktail party, or whenever I feel they are absolutely essential. My lifestyle now is definitely casual, and I love it that way. So do my 79 1/2 year old feet.

expatgal, I don't know for sure about your #1, as I didn't really go thru much in those years.

But your #2 definitely applies to me and most of the people over 50 I know. Feet generally aren't the prettiest part of our bodies anyway, and sticking them in pointed tow four inch heels isn't going to improve the look or function of anyone's feet.

Take it from those of us who've been there. Too much wearing of the heel makes for a very ugly, distorted foot in older years.

I don't think Leah has a choice what is going to be in the show. I agree, some were not my style and I am not into a high heel. I am more of a flip flop kind of girl during the summer. There are many more places to shop other than the Q.

I'm diabetic and the foot dr. told me I qualify for diabetic shoes. I said ""No way am I wearing those ugly shoes"". If I wanted to wear ugly shoes I could just order them from QVC.
