Shipping Charges for Fashion?

I was under the impression that all fashion items (except for shoes and handbags) ship for $3.50 unless the S/H is free. I was charged $5.50 for a Denim & co. Denim Jacket (item A294084) which is a very lightweight jacket. Yet in Fashion's Night in they just showed a Logo denim jacket much heavier denim and S/H is $3.50. I called customer service and they were of no help. They said that's what it came up as and they had no answer for the discrepancy.

Am I wrong in my assumption about fashion shipping at $3.50 except for the exceptions I mentioned?

Several times I’ve paid $5.50 shipping on clothing items. That's why when I see something I might like, but don't need, I place them in my wishlist and wait for a free shipping day.

Many years ago when QVC changed shipping to $3.50, $5.50, etc., instead of various odd amounts (and putting more than one item in a package) they did state that fashion would be $3.50 shipping. But as time passed they did not maintain their stated shipping amounts.

Customer did not benefit from the change.

Send an email to the mods at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com and ask them. Include the item #of the jacket.

no benefit to the customer?! Au contraire how soon they forget. When the Q charged much higher shipping i.e. 8.99 etc. they also employed free returns. If you remember there were plenty who took advantage of this and buying and returning was a hobby. There were even threads with people complaining that they'd only returned '20 pieces so far' but the Q was cutting them off?! The 3.50 shipping benefited the rest of us

Shipping several years ago would also give consumers a

break when buying muliples of the same item.

Now it is $3.50 for each item or higher.

I take that into consideration when purchasing.

On some D & C items, there will be a discount on multiples

of the same item, usually $3.00 off, so this helps to offset

the shipping.

I buy a lot of fashion and I don't recall $5.50 for shipping for anything but I might not have noticed.
