SKORTS?

Now that weather is getting warmer, trying to find an alternative for walking Molly. I've seen Skorts. Are they comfortable w/ the shorts underneath?

I got a couple of pairs last year at Marshall's and I love them for when I don't want to wear gym stuff but this year I have not seen as many there's tons of them on Amazon

RBX was the brand I bought last year

also have lots for golfing but that's a whole different thing

I've actually donated my shorts and capris and have been purchasing skirts, casual dresses and the "beach" type pants D&C sells. Feel more comfortable in the heat without anything tight around my legs.

I have multiple pairs of skorts. Most of mine are from Denim and Company and I have had them for years. I prefer them over shorts.

Thanks, Ladies. I thought the tighter shorts underneath would be an issue. I've seen some where shorts hung out under skirt...not a good look. Guess have to try on.

I live in denim skorts in the summer!

I always bought mine at JCP and the shorts underneath are not tight to the leg at all, nor do they show below the skirt.

I wear them A LOT. We have a very casual office (when we are there) and I have a bunch of 'wild' ones from Loudmouth Golf. I also have Quaker Factory ones from years ago. I just purchased the cuddle duds skorts--the material is a lot thinner than my others, but I really like them. They are very stretchy.

@GinaV24 I'm not a shorts person and bermudas always need a hem, so thought skorts may be a compromise. I see a self tanning situation for legs, though.

I don't wear them; I don't like the double layer factor.

Also, regarding Denim & Co., my guess is that the legs of the shorts would be very wide. (They assume everyone has big thighs.)

@Shanus Depending on what I'm going to do in the yard, I will change around what I'm wearing. I tend to wear longer pants for mowing, etc. so that I don't run into the bugs or poison ivy. I don't wear shorts at all - capris or pedal pusher lengths but most of the time it is skorts.

I'm totally with you on the self-tanner! I was thinking that it is time for me to start doing that so I don't frighten anyone!

@faeriemoon hey just wanted to say that I have many skorts from Denim and Company and the shorts are not a wide fit. They fit close to the leg and don't extend out from below the skirt.

Wonderful experience with skorts made by Lee from Walmart. Reasonable price and would be a way to try out. Believe you will actually need to do some walking in them to truly tell if they will work for you. Try on for size but do a test walk to see if they really are comfortable for you.
