Liking these new clothing lines at QVC

Just saw one this afternoon. Stytlelist by Micaela. Got the Sage green color tee. That, along with Barefoot Dreams & Candace Bure, is why I'm buying clothing from QVC again. I had stopped. Annoyed over the too long drapey tops, etc. Even Denim & Co was looking more & more dated. I thought that Gary guy would bring that line up to date. But he hasn't. And I started to get sick looking Susan's endless liquid knit. But these new brands are so much better! Shorter tops, and more stylish.

There is a place for Denim and Co. basics. But those prints are usually awful!

I think when they had the big lay off at QVC last year, Gary lost his "team". All they've presented this year are old styles in an occasional new color. Every week I watch Denim & Co. And have bought nothing. Not even tempted.

I had to turn Micalea off today. What a squalky, unpleasant voice.

I enjoyed the Stylist show with Micaela.

In particular, the chino pants, which were a very nice fit. Not too tight, and very high-end looking, imo.

I thought the same thing: What a nice, new line.

I loved the line. Besides the Tee I got the Chino pants. Just a great fit, not to tight or wide with that little cuff at the bottom. The way Chino pants should be.

Her voice (yes, I noticed it too)was annoying & was typical of the voices I've been hearing with the new brands, but the clothes were great. And now it's almost painful to see Denim & Co. I just switch it off.

I laughed when you said "vibe" I'm curious about Gary. Is he really a designer or just a spokesperson for the line? I'm sure a team of people design the new clothes. Just wondered if Gary has any voice in it. He's a good speaker even if the clothes are awful.

I have seen some nice Logo and even brought a few. Unfortunately they are not durable.

Today, I saw a jacket, IMHO, IT looked like Laurie had a lot of left over material , and made a jacket. It was selling according to Any and Laurie, but I laughed , because some people might think it looks good, but years ago, it might have been worn as a costume. To me it looked ridiculous.

She is smart and a good marketer.

When Micaela was first on the Szish list, she presented a cotton button front sweater, which I purchased and kept. The most important thing for me is what fabric the garment is made from. Even though I like many of the designs and colors of the newer and older vendors, I have never been happy with a poly/span combo. I don't even order them any longer, since S&H is on me.

Well, QVC sure needs some new clothing lines. They got rid of my favorite old lines. But I've been burned by QVC clothes once too often, and I don't think I'll order again. I did watch one of Candice Bure's shows and liked everything shown, but won't buy unless I'm impressed by the reviews.

I don't watch QVC enough to have even seen any other new brands. Never heard of Stylist. I know I'm very tired of the repetitive D&Co styles.

I am so over the liquid knit - that line needs a serious shake up. I know the fabric is a good seller but I'd like to see some pieces with a heavier texture - I like some heft to my fabric.

Really? I've seen a fair number of completely new items. (And to another poster -- they don't want Gary to "update" D&Co into something else completely; it is what it is, and he has created a number of brand extensions, etc. to move the line forward.)

The new clothing lines here are all selling the EXACT same merichandise that all the other lines are selling, even the ones that QVC parted ways with. The only difference is that the new lines are more expensive.

I checked out the chino pants - they are nice looking and tempting. Fit and inseam would work.

BUT - there's one big problem - something that really bothers me. The pockets don't lay flat - either on the hanger or on the model.

I get my chino's at LandsEnd. Good fabrc, fit and flat pockets. AND - custom inseam length.
