Waterproof Jacket

This jacket is so worth the sale price. Orginally $93 and now $47.18. You can usually find rain resistant but this is waterproof which is much better for you to stay dry. Detachable hood, zipped front pockets, adjustable wrist tab and when you jacket gets wet it shows a design in the same color. The lime shows polka dots. Sizing is normal with a little room to spare. It zips up front but also have snaps incase you are in a hurry. I purchased the lime color and it looks great with navy, charcoal gray, black, dark brown, even taupe or khaki. The inside of the jacket is made so you won't be hot. About 5 different colors. A374732. I will definitely check out their winter jackets/coats.

I have it in gray, and I love it . I paid full price and have no regrets.

I got that jacket when it was a TSV in Orange last year. It’s so cute.

I have the pink one and absolutely love it. It's not easy finding true waterproof outerwear

I wish I had even the tiniest need for rain apparel but in the face of a historic drought that is more than "severe", I have absolutely no need.

It's lovely, but I prefer longer. Too much area is left exposed.

@LindaSal You don't need to size up. I think it would be way too big. There is enough room in your normal size. You could even wear a sweater underneath.

So true about the difference between water "resistent" and waterproof. The coating on water resistent will eventually wear off.

Fabrics marked waterproof will always repel water. They do not let water soak into them under any conditions, even if the fabric is old. These fabrics are mostly vinyl, vinyl-coated or laminated.

Fabrics that are water resistant have been treated to repel water from their surfaces, but if the coating is old or water is pooling on top of the fabric they can soak through.

I always buy "waterproof" - otherwise around here you would get drenched just walking a few blocks to the subway in a downpour.

Both Totes slickers and LandsEnd rainwear are waterproof
