@bewise - I wasn't familiar with this brand as I watch very little QVC. I just looked on the website and saw two, possibly three, items that definitely caught my eye. Not so much for the rest of the collection.

I like some of the items I've seen but have never purchased anything. The vendor shares her name with my late mother.

I love Tolani. I love wearing the line. There are many lines at QVC that I don't care, and it wouldn't have occurred to me to start a thread solely for the purpose of bashing a line, no other point to be made.

I love the beautiful prints and colors, soft natural woven fabrication that does not require ironing. Easy fit.

Not each and every item in the line is to my liking, but that is true for everyone with regards to every line IMO.

I have seen too much of this generic Tolani bashing that I don't see for other lines. I wonder why.

(What I don't understand are those who bash the designs and then complain about the prices. If they don't like the stuff, what difference does the price make. Would they like it better if it were less expensive?)

I'm not a fan of the line. Or any line where the front of a garment is totally different from the back. I picture someone at a gathering asking where Sarah is. Someone says, "She's here. Look for a red leopard shirt." Sarah goes unnoticed for the moment because her back is to the crowd and on that side, she has black plaid patchwork. 😀

I've seen a lot of threads bashing many clothing lines. If you're suggesting there is a nefarious reason people are bashing it I don't believe that's the case. The dress shown this morning was not attractive and that is probably what prompted the thread. I can be really cynical but in this instance I don't belive the op meant anything more than what she said.

I usually wear solid color button up the front blouses but stepped out my comfort zone & bought a printed Tolani caftan top....it's so light, just perfect for those hot humid Summer days & I liked it so much I purchased the other 3 prints it came in too. Today because of this thread I purchased another printed top on clearance & can't wait to get it. I don't like everything in her collection but I could say that about all fashion designers.

I have a few Tolani tops that I absolutely love! In fact, my favorite blouse for fall is A354819. I have it in teal multi. I also have A346999 in coral that I wear often in the spring and get so many compliments!

@santorini I actually like, and wear, tops that have a different front and back, but your example is hilarious! Thanks for making me laugh! I guess if I ever go somewhere in such a top, I will have to spin around a lot to make sure I'm seen from both sides!

Can say that Tolani comes across as a true Lady who is a designer . She provides info on why she chooses various fabrics and designs. She speaks in a calm confident manner to us customers . She does not yell talk like other designers do on QVC.

I did see a few pieces that I liked the unusual fabric patterns. Ordered 2 garments . Found that fabric quality was not a good value in my opinion to warrant the prices . I waited till one piece was marked down . Fabric very whisper light would be good for a hot summer . Also need to order up size larger .

It's a great option, especially for women who live in hot and humid areas.

Light and breezy.

I guess I could wear those items over a turtleneck top, if I were in the habit of entertaining.

Maybe next year, when almost everyone will be able to mingle.

who really believes this woman when she says she designs all these fabrics from her travels? Just watched her say she got inspiration from Sedona while showing a picture of Monument Valley. It is obvious to me her clothes all come from India, not inspired by her travels. It's embarrassing to watch.

I like her things - and have several pieces. And expect to be more of them.

I have no issue with where she gets her inspiration, or where the clothes are made. Very nice fabrics come from India.

I love her clothes. 99% of them are made of modal. I wait for sales, and I only buy the modal ones.
