Modern boot cuts have been in style for several years now, they are nothing at all like the old boot cut from back in the day. I always have a couple of pairs in my wardrobe. But slim straights are my preferred style. I don't wear flares because I'm short and a size 18 and they make me look shorter than I am.

I am so fashionable! Ahead of the curve because I never stopped wearing boot cut! I do have some straight leg though. While many look terrific in skinny jeans and leggings I'm of the belief that just because I can, doesn't mean I should so I don't!

As long as I can still find slim leg and straight cut jeans, I’m fine with whatever “they” want to claim is “in.”

I’m OK with a baby boot cut but too wide isn’t something I’m interested in.

I have to admit the pants along w/the belt looks rather "chic." My perferred style are highwaisted straight or skinny/cigarette

I like my high waisted flares, I like my low rise boot cut and I like my slim straights.

My least favorite Jean style is probably a skinny but even those that aren't loaded with spandex and tight around my ankles are good too

As for flares making short girls look shorter the higher waist actually extends the leg line.

Like slight flares with a high waist. Just today I was thinking of getting rid of lots of leggings. Somehow they look so old.

Depends on the cut - there are "boot leg" and then there are "booooot leg."

This is a good cut .... I think I have some with that style leg from WWC from a few years ago.

Just find a pair that doesn't hug the knee tightly before the outward flare. You can look much more slim.

These highlight the thigh.

Dianne Gilman (HSN) made baby boot cuts back when that was the style. I still have some in my closet. I won't go back though. I like straight leg or slim leg. I do not like the skin tight skinny skinny jeans that hug the calf.

Everything old becomes new again as they say. I just wear what is comfortable for me. I do hope the yoga pant look starts to wane though.

I'm not fond of the whiskering but otherwise the model has a great set of legs! I don't see where her thighs look bad

Thanks! The jeans are topshop and I'm a big fan of the line. I actually got lucky with the blouse because I found it at BJ's!
You may like these that I recently found on Amazon. I can't comment on the quality because I didn't buy one but I might because they're really cute

It's available in a whole lot of colors

Express has the barely boot cut columnist. I have a couple pairs and they're nice. @San Antonio Gal Likes them too
