wrong size labels ??

I ordered a pair of these, patent leather style leggings from Nordstrom. Think they would go nicely with one of my tops and a pair of booties. They arrived and I went to try them on. They were way too small even though they were la belled Medium, my size according to their size chart.

Possibly they got labeled wrong at the manufacturer ? Anyone else have any similar experiences?

I remember buying a pantsuit at Marshall Fields over 20 years ago on a clearance rack. It was my size but was also labeled as a petite. I'm right at 6 feet tall so I'm sure the petite part was a mistake.

Their sizes run small. If you are used to QVC sizing it isn't even close.

Could they be faux patent leather? I ask because my very limited experience with faux leather is pants run small. Go up a size. Same as real leather, I always had to go up.

Leggings sizes can be all over the place. I've worked at 3-4 clothing stores.

I've seen the line and I purchased some underwear when they were on sale. Otherwise they're kind of pricey

@Still Stylish Lady Did you measure the leggings and compare to the size chart? If it is off, then I would contact their CS and see if they will make it right for you. Good luck! Post a pic if you are able to get a good fit!
