To me there is something about a dressy coat in a bright unexpected color that instantly looks fashionable. Of course my long wool blend coat is charcoal grey.

I also just think this is a beautiful coat, I love the neckline. $438 at Nordstrom. Wool, polyester, and nylon. If I had the budget for a large coat wardrobe, I would get one in this color.

It's $262 at Dillards, only XL in boysenberry. They have it in camel too, which is a timeless color.

I love that coat color and style. I have one similar in a jade/turqoiuse color with that same neckline, but not belted.

I also have a LandsEnd Permaloft short jacket in that bright pink color. I wear it a lot and always get compliments on it.

I already have way too many coats and jackets, but I am always tempted to buy another.

So pretty!! I am usually fearless about wearing clothes, but for me, that color trends a little youthful, so I would not purchase...

I buy Kate Spade for my nieces.
