My Yummie by Heather Thompson cotton shapewear leggings don:t bag at knees and do hug my ankles. They are 88% cotton 12% spandex. They don't appear shiny (IMO) and are a bit of a struggle to put on esp. at first. They are available still in 3 lengths. Rachel is the full length style. It's good to size up.

Spanx leggings are good quality but you surely need a longer top because they are sung but zero bagging and snug around the ankles but comfortable. Perfect for wearing boots. I size up one because I feel they run a little small. If you visit the Spanx website you will see many times they have sales so you can try a pair for a little less $.

Great basic, black, wide band that holds you in on top, no bagging in knees, tight ankle. I've worked for two different boutiques that carried them...our top selling legging. They wash and wear well also...made well, don't stretch out.

Hue is also another good brand we carried, more for a variety of fashion leggings....I have "jeggings" from them. I like them, but the ones I have don't have the wide band top which I prefer in leggings to flatten the tummy, give you a smooth look under tops.

Hope that helps.

Btw...I believe Amazon sells both, but other outlets online do as well.

I like the Yummie leggings also. Their waistband is the bomb and the knees never bag out. Go up a size unless you want the compression for support. Some people go up two sizes for comfort. I go up a size when I want to wear them around casually. But for exercising I like to stay with my normal size for the extra support they give me.

I just looked at HSN for Yummie leggings and it looks like everything Yummie is on clearance there.

The first pair of leggings I purchased for the gym and home exercise, bagged at the knees. It turns out that once I shortened them, they seemed to be fine. The extra fabric caused "puddling".

I also agree with the post about wearing athetic leggings for the best fit, but not the shiny ones unless you're working out.

I am short, so understand the gathering around the knees. The petite still have more length than I need, but once I get them in place, they hold their shape all day. I like the thickness of the material, too. Bonus, I *think* they are 40% off right now!

I wonder if they are or will be gone from HSN?

@SilleeMee...I just went to the Yummie site...Which leggings are you referring to?...There are various ones to choose from and I'm looking at the "Ponte Shaping Legging" and the "Rachel Cotton Stretch Shaping Legging"....leaning towards the Rachel.

Thanks!

Yes, the Rachel cotton leggings are the ones I have. @MyShadowLove
