Black Sweaters Not Easy To Find!!!

I got out my solid black sweater which was "ok" when I got it and it went straight in the trash!

I have looked all over (trying to avoid wool or cashmere) and, it has been a major chore!

Black is supposed to be a major color this year!!!!!!!!!!😏

Target has a black v neck sweater by New Day for $18.00. Hope this helps.

My closet is mostly black...I have a lot of black tops & sweaters. I have so many that I haven't bought any this year but have gotten them in the past here, Chicos, Talbots, Macys and some local shops.

I am finding black tops, or even solid tops are very hard to find. I am finding most clothing caters to youth, an dthe younger women sont wear black as I do.

i looked all over last spring for a black, long sleeve,button down sweater. Simple no collar.i also wanted the length shorter, sort of 50's style to go with a dress. I looked everywhere, about 8 or nine online stores. I found it at amazon.

it is not cotton or wool. It is fine gauge, soft but some fabric mix it was 20 bux. I love it. Wear it with dresses, spring and fall. It is slightly warm amazon does have a great selecton of clothing. I always get prime, andstay away from third parties.

The ironic thing is, black was one of Pantone's main "colors" this year! After about 6 months, in normal times, it would have been plentiful!

@ECBG - I wear black a lot too. Have you considered any of the lines here? Two of my favorite recent purchases are Linea: A384501 and A385149 (although this one might be gone in your size).

I love the Linea Moss Crepe Knit Top with Pleated Collar that @beach-mom recommended. I would get it if I was on the market for that. It is gorgeous.

I saw a couple in Nordstrom that maybe you would like, a CHELSEA28 Everyday V-Neck Sweater, and a NIC+ZOE Vital V-Neck Sweater. I did a quickie in QVC and thought maybe you like this one, 85% cotton/15% cashmere

I think there are lots of v-neck black sweaters out there.

Did you look at the Nordstrom, Macy's or Bloomingdale's websites? They offer many, many black sweaters.

Gosh, every online site where I've looked at sweaters this fall have black choices in every style. I don't wear black, so am usually unhappy that I can't find a color I want. Either I'm looking in the wrong stores, or you are.

@ECBG .. I just checked the Talbots and Macys websites..... they both had numerous black sweaters. Talbots is having a 40% off Friends and Family Sale.

I also needed a new black crew neck sweater for the season. I can’t wear rami, cashmere, or wool. I finally found a classic ribbed version in rayon/nylon online from Kohl’s Nine West brand. I liked the closer fit when I tried it on. Very soft. Hope it washes well when I start wearing it.
