Best dressed television character?

Is there a program that you watch regularly where one of the characters often wears clothing that makes you say "now that's really cute!"

I've seen things that make me stop and take notice on a few shows but more often than not I really like what Haley Dunphy is wearing on modern family! Just recently I saw an episode with this coat.

It took some digging but I finally found a picture of it! It's BCBG Max Azria. The website I discovered is worn on tv.net

Yes! The clothes worn by Tea Leoni on Madame Secretary are the best! I think her clothes are amazing.....Best dressed character on TV.

Bring back Dynasty!!! Crystal was always dressed up. I really wish they would bring back some really, really good night soap opera shows like Dynasty, Dallas, Knots Landing. You never wanted to miss a show and the women were always dressed very nice. It seems that the networks are hooked on medical shows.

Dynasty is back and I believe this iteration has better clothes! It isn't the 80s!

I'm curious as to how much control, if any, the actors have over their character's wardrobe. Are they told what to wear or do they have an array of pieces to choose from? I am leaning towards the latter because when I look at shows like last Man standing where in they've switched actors out I note that the character Mandy seems to be dressing differently from the previous actor. Is it because the previous actor wears the clothing better or is she, the new Mandy,making choices that I don't like?

I used to watch Kerry Washington in Scandal just to see her outfits. Got tired of the show after the first season, but still watched sometimes to see what she was wearing.

For me it's Kerry Washington on Scandal. The handbags were amazing too, they were by Prada.

Had to think about this. We have recently purchased DVDs of Streets of SF. Michael Douglas wears some great clothes.

One the tube today, I'd have to say Benny on Bull. He wears lovely suits that are well tailored.

I am going to the way back machine both Marlo Thomas on That Girl and Mary Tyler Moore on her own show were well dressed they were early examples of working women

Loved the outfits Peta Wilson wore on this old series. She had a very was edgy look.
