Printed Everything

Have you noticed QVC is the Queen of prints? Especially Susan Graver and Denim and Company. I don't mind an occasional print. I do like plaid. But many of the prints are over the top or not easily worn. Prints are not as versatile as solids. I think it is just QVCs way to sell more stuff. I wonder who is buying these mass quantities of prints.

I often buy prints. I like prints either on top or bottom.

I don’t tell anyone how to dress and I’d never let anyone tell me. Last I heard, we can buy whatever we want in this country.

If the OP doesn’t like prints, don’t buy them. Problem solved.

It's not QVC it's the vendor. There are Susan and WWC are the big print users. Many other lines have solids or both prints and solids.

@chessylady Three of my last 4 QVC clothing purchases were perfectly plain and the fourth was a classic simple plaid.

I have no trouble skipping what I don't think would flatter my body, but plenty of those are perfectly plain.

@rms1954 I'm sitting here smiling - I can't think of anything Susan I ever bought that wasn't perfectly plain with the exception of one pair of trousers that are a quiet beige/white print - the print is such that from a distance the pant looks to be off white.

I live near a huge Macy's - at any one time they have thousands of print items on their clothing racks. Apparently many women do like prints.

I think we're fortunate to have choices.

I like some prints, but find much of what QVC offers is an assortment of tops and dresses with big, splashy floral or abstract prints. I don't like or wear those kinds of prints.

Most of my clothes with prints come from other retailers.

I love designs and prints! Bob Mackie, Isaac, Susan, Quacker Factory, and D & Co bring us colors and designs that are unique and beautiful!

I can buy a plain item anywhere, but only at QVC can I partake of these marvelous creations.

When I wear these lovely prints, I feel special.

Keep them coming, please!

Depends on the print. Louis Dell'Olio sometimes talks about "designer prints." I think he means tasteful prints.

You need sunglasses to look at some of QVC's prints.

I agree, QVC must be the print capital of the world.

I prefer solid color bottoms, but I do buy print tops- just really fussy about the type of print and colors.

I prefer abstract and geometric prints. Love paisleys.
I don’t wear florals.

From QVC I have Tolani, Attitudes, Logo, and some Mackie and Basso. I used to buy Attitudes from catalogs before Renee brought the line to QVC.

Animal prints are my faves. I probably have more animal than any other.

I have a closet full of SG clothing and a few other QVC designers that I've bought over many, many years. About half are perfectly plain and the other half are prints that are rather subtle. SG does like prints, but she also offers basic tops. Her tops and pants worked perfectly for me when I was working full time. Haven't worn much of them in the past year, but maybe life will get back to normal in the not too distant future.

I have noticed prints , especially florals of all intensities in B&M , catalogs etc. They are in home decor items also.

Now that I'm thinking about it.............

I feel 'free-er' when wearing prints.

At weddings, social events, etc.

Something about prints that I don't have to worry about spills, etc., etc. at events.

It seems as though I'm always having to be 'careful' when wearing solid dresses, tops.

(Is this chair completely clean, etc. Will I sit on a spot of something?. I relate to Niles in Frasier.)

Yes! All the shopping channels do a lot of prints, more than prints that you find in departments stores. I notice because I don't care for big prints. I'm ok with it because there are plenty of solids for me to choose from.
