How do you Line Dry clothes?

Where I live we do not have clotheslines. When the care instructions say Line Dry, what do you do in that case?

I usually tumble them in the dryer about 5 minutes to shake out wrinkles, then hang on a hanger to dry. In nice weather I put them out on the patio and they're dry in minutes (desert climate).

Luckily, I have a nice size laundry room in the basement and there are places to hang things up. Also, I purchased a drying rack at Aldi which I can hang things on or place things on to dry. I line dry all my tops and slack, even when the tag says no need to. I think it avoids shrinkage and keeps things looking new longer. There are drying racks you can buy inexpensively on-line, too.

I have a folding rack in my laundry room. I tumble press on low some things and then hang them on a shower curtain rod in my master suite bathroom. They do have drying racks that fit in a bathtub. I plan on getting one of them, too.

I have a tripod folding rack I set up in my spare bedroom. Hang things on the arms of the rack that can't go in the dryer. Undies get clipped to a hanger with a clothespin...3-4 can fit on one hanger that way.

It works because stuff is spun well enough in the washer so nothing is "dripping"wet...no problem with the carpeted floor getting wet.

I don't buy anything that requires special care. No dry clean, hand wash, lay flat, iron etc. If it can't be put in the dryer it stays in the store.

I "air" dry in the dryer for a while and then hang on hangers in my laundry room which is the garage.

No problem drying anything in this Oklahoma heat.

A different story in the winter.

I have a tri-pod clothing rack in my laundry room. Very convenient for clothing that I'd rather air dry than the dryer.

Depending on the fabric(quilts, silk,etc) I line dry outside on the clothes. In the winter I line dry in the furnace room. Sometimes in the shower on a hanger.

I'm almost where you are @Meowingkitty Absolutely no dry flat or hand wash for sure. There are a couple of cotton T shirts I hang but that's it. I do allow myself one luxury. I like wearing blouses (little to no polyester) that if washed would have to be ironed. They go the cleaners and come back perfect.

Like others I have the tri pod folding rack and a regular folding rack. I use both of them and for maxi dresses I use the shower rod also. Works out pretty well.

I have retractable lines on my porch. Hardly ever use the dryer. Everything goes outside. In winter I have a multiple line clothes dryer that I bought from the Q. My sheets go outside even in the winter.

I line dry all my clothes even jeans. Sweats are the only thing that I put in the dryer and they even have to be many years with holes old. I hang wet items all over the place shower rod, handle to my exercise bike and many door knobs too. I love ironing so getting wrinkles out for me is no big deal. Spending $$ on new clothes is a big deal for my cheap self. A dryer is torture on clothing even if it says it can be placed in a dryer. I even line dry my bath mats to save the rubber backing from slowly being melted over many dry cycles.

I have a foldable sweater dryer rack that is set up permanently. I use this for the nicer tops & sweaters, etc. If it is just a regular cotton blend type of top, etc., I put them on a hanger and hang them on my shower rod.

I have a tri-pod plasic rack I bought that has arms coming off of it. The arms have holes in them to slip hangers through and that is where I hang everything to dry. It's set up in my spare bedroom.
