Disappointed In Ralph Lauren's New Top

This woven top with fringe which draws the eye to the mid section, looks too much like a rug to me. Pretty blues, though. You'll see the tops are getting shorter with this one.

If it had a smaller neckline and longer length, I'd like it. Boat necklines always expose my bra straps. I like the pattern, appearance of the fabric, fringe, and colors. Great with denim.

I am not a fan of the fringe but other than that it is it' has some appeal. I do like the blue colors.

I'm afraid that fringe would be a tangled mess after the garment is laundered.

Beautiful colors, but cut not for those of us that have a larger mid section. I like the fringe, adds a unique touch. If I could wear it I would never wash, dry clean only. DD would look great in this top.

@ROMARY No. R Lauren rarely offers color options.

Shorter tops are becoming more wide spread after a little over a year.

I love the blue colors, but the shape of the top & fringe aren’t my style. It does look a bit short in length. Not thrilled to hear shorter tops are trending. I prefer a traditional hip length - not too short but not tunic length.

I know those of you that beautiful height are going to be turning a lot of things down now.

I think traditional stores like Talbot won't have such a difference.

Thank goodness it's not another tunic!!! I think it is very attractive but not sure about the sleeves/fringe.

I like the neckline and the colors, but I think that I would prefer the top to be a little longer. Not so sure about that frnge.
