An Apology. We have just returned from our 2-3p.m. show. During the drive, I have been reading the Live Show Posts on the Forum. Many of you thought the show was "amiss", "wonky" and "off kilter". You are being more than kind. The show was a mess. Louie was on air when there was a decision to make a change in the show. He had approved a last minute change right before the show and that was managable....but, other changes that were made during the show, obviously... resulted in confusion and ,ultimately, chaos backstage, causing the models to miss their changes. Louie, as you all know by now, selects each outfit for the model and chooses the jewelry and accesories. He sketches the looks, plans the accessory bags and orchestrates this all like a choreographer. After all, "God is in the details" and this organization is part of his genetic code. He does this for a 2p.m. show as well as a 4a.m. show. The models; Angela, Chantal, Brenda, Kate and Maria are absolute professionals and none of this was any of their fault. They adore Louie and were very upset during and after the show. I missed 2 outfits...I waited in my little shrug for 20 minutes. The lace was not shown properly and all that is a pity...I had said on this page before we left for QVC that we would have fun at this show....this was not fun.. and to what purpose did a poor decision serve? As I waited in my outfit, one of the models told me that Louie asked if I was OK. The girls, from the runway, said "Yes", but they looked upset. He thought I had taken ill...he knows me well and knows that I would NEVER miss 2 turns unless something was very wrong. 20 minutes in he was going to stop the show..and come back to see about me. I heard he asked this question and I very well knew what he would do. I know Louie as well as he knows me. I finally went out and relieved his mind...in my shrug that I had been standing around wearing for almost half the show. We are home. He is not happy. I want to make 2 things very clear. We always want to do the very best of our ability for all of you, and... I always want to be as honest as I can .You are more than our customers, you have become our friends. I want you to know the truth. This you all deserve and I apologize again for a sloppy, disorganized show. May we have better days, Much Love, Jac

Jac (and Louis) ARE class acts. I feel as if they both go out of their way to present Linea well, and it's important to them that we are happy with what we purchase. I feel bad for both of them after today, especially knowing how hard Louis works for these shows.

How nice of you, Jac, to take the time to explain. I had no idea of the last minute changes, but I did know there was a period when no models were in their places. Louis must spend a lot of time preparing the outfits complete with jewelry, etc. as the models always look like perfection and the styling gives us such great ideas of how to wear the wonderful styles from Louis. I hope both of you will not be worrying too much about this.

They do work very hard on these shows. Louis and Jac are true professionals and I love how they really care for their customers! They will knock it out of the park for their next show! :-)

From this explanation, it is no wonder that this was not their "best" show ever. The tension must have been palpable, for all involved, including Antonella. Hopefully, in future, changes won't be made unless approved first by Louis. The clothing was still beautiful.

Maybe, we posters have learned a lesson also, in that we wait to know what is going on, before we ALL start getting snarky.

They have nothing to apologize for. They are clearly two of the nicest, most caring professionals I have ever seen. They work very hard and are very honest. Without a doubt, their customers come first. His blogs are awesome with pictures and explanations that you would never see from other vendors. He answers questions which I think must take a great deal of his time. This is time he could spend with the lovely Jac doing things they enjoy. Truthfully, they could probably retire, but you can see how much they love and enjoy their work. A class act! I hope they can put this day behind them and move forward.

Louis and Jac are classy, honest and sincere & consummate professionals. That Jac would take the time to tell us what really happened, speaks volumes. How frustrating it must have been for both of them to see the show unwind as it had and not be in a position to do anything about it. I hope QVC makes it up to them--they deserve at least that. Louis and Jac don't owe us any apologies.

There are many reasons why Louis & Jac have such a loyal and devoted following and sending this note to us is just another example of why we adore them!

Oh my, I hope they don't feel too bad, everyone has an "off night". What a sweet lady. I hate that they feel badly about the show. Yes they both are class acts.

That must have been upsetting. After all you go through to prepare, plan, pack, drive in bad weather and set up for a 4am show? Making a change mid-show was unprofessional and I hope Louis gives them a piece of his mind.

I feel for you all, but rest assured none of that stopped me from buying the beautiful blue silky shirt I loved.

Thank you for all you do. You and Louis are lovely people.

Well said. I do wish these boards and posts had a "like" button...lovely clothing as expected. Can't wait to get my new spring items.

Jac's comments are from her facebook page. You always get a true sense of what a lovely couple she and Louis are from what she writes. Everybody tried their best, so we know the next show is going to be great.

I'm sure that in addition to Louis being stressed about what was happening to his immaculate plans, to have his beloved wife not appear I'm sure sent his anxiety soaring. And Jac's too, as she worried about what he must have been feeling. Major stress for all concerned.

I actually had tears in my eyes reading her letter to us. Jac was so very descriptive that we know that is exactly what happened. Please, Louie fans, save this letter. I know that she spoke from her heart and what did it take for her to do that? After reading her letter to us I love her. I saw the show, I wondered where she was.

Vickybliss, thank you for posting Jac's comments. I felt like something was off but then I was struggling with the website at the same time and then my phone rang so I wasn't able to focus on the show...except I did purchase a couple of items during the show to add to my pre-ordered items --No amount of chaos can apparently keep me from getting my Linea fix.

Here's hoping that Jac and Louis can decompress this evening, put today's show behind them, and know that we are eager for their next appearance on QVC. I look forward to seeing reviews of the lace items, the big shirt, and the porcelain vase top. Plus, I am eagerly awaiting the OLO denim and WK pieces.

I knew that anything being amiss in a Linea would NEVER be Louis' or Jac's fault. They're perfectionists. No other QVC shows are that professional.

I watched some segments of the show and thought the clothing was beautiful....it is so kind of Jac to explain and consider the feelings and thoughts of her and Louis' viewers!! They truly are two very professional and lovely people!!!
