Yes, in a heartbeat. We were married on 03/14/70 & my dress was all lace, long sleeves and a hoop skirt. My veil matched my dress perfectly. It was exactly what I always dreamed of.I

ETA:The dress and veil cost $100.00

Absolutely: it was simple, elegant and clearance-priced at $100.....all I could afford. The little double pearl tiara and veil cost $50.

I just donated the dress to a wedding gown non-profit with a note that I hope the next brides who wore it had at least 50 years of happiness. Going on 53 now !

My wedding dress was by a Greek designer. The name is still there and his son took over.

I wont say the name because my haters will come again.

Yes. My Mom made it along with two of the bridesmaids dresses. Eta,this was my first marriage. No fancy dress for the other.

40 years ago DH and I were married by the Carson City Nevada Justice of the peace for $25 dollars. Could not even afford rings.

I was married in 1977. We got off work one day and went downtown to be married. I had on gray pants and a shirt. I never wanted a traditional wedding.

I love my gown --22 yrs later.

One of my sisters wore my mother's gown and both loved it. My mother still loves the gown and my sister wore it 30 some yrs later and loves it and the fact that she wore my mom's gown. Another sister wore something different. To each his own.

I do not have regrets about my gown or the dresses I picked out for the three bridesmaids.

But main thing is that I love the man the married that day.

I think I would. It was more a Victorian style. Dotted Swiss and washable. Couldn't afford a lot. Cut it down and wore on first anniversary. Bridesmaids wore dresses in light turquoise that were also same style and also dotted Swiss. However even though at 51 years I would not choose the same groom. Happy for those that would though.

I got married in Vegas at the Little White Chapel or something like that. It turned out to be an unfortunate decision.
