Score! Got A Ralph Lauren Cricket Sweater For $16.99

I've wanted this sweater for a while. Almost ordered one recently from the RL site for 50 plus dollars with an additional % off, but I passed. It was the one with the orchid accent stripe.

As I always do with something I really want, I occasionally Googled it. Found one in pink this morning from a company in PA that sells on EBay and their own site, they buy store overstock. Almost entirely men's clothing. At least in the very small selection of women's clothing, it's one of each item.

It's new, not used. Someone was selling a used one in pink on Poshmark for $50. I hope for a cool day or two so I can wear it. Free shipping too. I refuse to pay full price for any item of clothing, even something I really want.

Love the soft pink. That will look so pretty on you. Enjoy your sweater. It always makes me happy to get something on sale but especially something you already had your eye on. I love shopping and miss going to the stores.

@Greeneyedlady21, What a lovely sweater! I do like the RL brand

and have a few pieces I really love. Quite a number of years ago I bought a RL faux leather tote bag on sale at Macy’s. It has a black background, with a Chanel-type print of chains, etc. I have gotten more compliments on that bag than bags that cost many times that. Enjoy that sweater. I wish I had one myself.

that sweater is the epitome of RL!

I had a similar experience with some RL paisley sheets. They were stunning! I stalked them for some time until I was on vacation in upstate NY when my cousin and I saw them in a mall. They had been discontinued! Score! We even had to go to another store to get all the pieces but it was so worth it!

@San Antonio Gal I don't think I'm allowed to say the name? I still remember one time starting a thread about Christian Siriano's store in NYC, and something was deleted because it allegedly promoted another retailer somehow.

I'm just honestly confused and unsure of the standards here sometimes. Maybe a moderator can let me know if I'm allowed to tell you the name.
