2020 Beach Pants are longer than 27 inches

This year was the 4th year I have ordered them, not counting a few pairs I bought from e bay, they are all supposed to be 27 inches long. Anyway this years version is was too long.

What gives if a product works why change it

I noticed that with mine too. Last year was the first year that I bought the beach pants - I assume you mean the Denim & Co. beach pants - and really liked them. So bought another pair this year but are they ever long! Seems a lot longer than last year. Haven't measured mine yet but will. I'm keeping them anyway but will have to make sure I wear a sandal with a bit of heel and be careful walking down stairs.

I agree. The ones I ordered were more like 29 1/2. I'm returning them as defective, bc not cut to spec. The waist was also too large.

@I am still oxox If they're longer than specified, you don't want to hem them, return as defective.

Are you referring to the petite pant inseam? I bought two pair of the regular length which are supposed to be 30". They are both 32". If I had known the petite inseam was longer than 27" I would have bought them instead.
