Shape of Linea flower-embroidered boucle jacket?

Ladies, Louis says on his blog that he'll have a longer jacket in "super ponte" in the fall. He says the shape will be similar to his vintage boucle jacket with flower embroidery. I'm not familiar with that piece. Can one of u describe it? Anything "longer" peaks my interest!

helping-I think it's A62176. I hope that's the topper jacket Louis indicated. I'm so excited about the super ponte leggings and long jacket, I don't know how I can wait until the fall!

Thank you, ladies! The jacket shape looks so flattering, and I look best with a pointed collar. The super ponte jacket and leggings is a set I'm definitely looking forward to this fall.

Here we are still buying Spring, and soon Summer---but already anxiously awaiting Fall! All my "I'm going to cut back on spending in 2014" went out the window in January!!!!

If this new ponte is anything like the past Roma Ponte - I will be happy to pay the price increase for quality! Only have two pieces of the vintage =but it's fantastic to own and wear.

My favorite is the Steel Gray open front jacket with sequins.....before millennium =great Linea jacket.

This has got my vote also. I would be happy to pay to get the Roma ponte back or a similar quality.

NBW, I have that jacket in Black and the matching Black Sequin Skirt....hard to believe, but I have never worn it----sadly, it's a Large and is too big for me now. It is extremely high quality. Looking forward to the new Super Ponte.

I love my Roma Ponte pieces so much that I've been a miser with them. I wear them sparingly because I never want to wear them out. Silly, isn't it? To like a fabric so much that you wear a garment only once in a while... I'm looking forward to seeing if the "super" ponte is close to the "Roma" ponte. If it is... I may be able to wear my Roma pieces more often, LOL. I think the embroidered jackets silhouette will be stunning in a heavy ponte.

Exciting news indeed. Love the shape of that jacket and the LONGER length sure puts a smile on my face I'm also willing to pay more for a better fabric so I'm hoping this new ponte will be in that category. Lots to look forward to!!

diamondscribe-I've gotten miserly with my ponte di roma pieces too. I used to wear them once a week, but I've cut back on number of wearings, so they will last longer! I know what you mean!

sheesh-want someone to take that L jacket and skirt off your hands? I'd be happy to give them a new home. And...thanks for posting the link to the floral boucle topper.

I have the boucle jacket and I really like it and I really love ponte so having something as pretty as the photos that were posted to look forwad to is wonderful.

Although considering how snowy this winter has been I am dreaming of spring & summer and I don't even want to think about next winter.

Louis made a skirt years ago, it had a see through border of organza. I just loved that skirt. I saw a similar one on the Nordstrom site, made by Vince Camuto. I wish Louis would make it again.

A62176...I noticed the blue version of this jacket, in L, on eBay this morning.
