i actually meant in general...they had an estate sale & sold his long island home but that's all i can find...none his pages get updated...nothing when you google him...like he fell off the face of the earth...hope he's in good health...

His earlier offerings were great. Good colors / prints / fabrics. I bought a couple of his tops and jackets. All but one of the tops are gone, but the jackets will live forever. I'm still stopped by strangers on the street whenever I wear one of the jackets.

The top I still have is one of his leopard print turtleneck cold shoulder tops. I cut off the sleeves - so it's now a sleeveless top. Nice fabric and great fit. And - his turtleneck is cut just the way I like it.

The last year or so - it was like he lost his "design mojo." Just awful stuff.

OH GOSH!!! I can't imagine that! (At this point, nothing surprises me), To lose an actual, real, designer. THAT is poor!!!

Even though I never bought anything from his line I liked to watch his shows, he was always such a generous soul and a gentleman.

Loved his clothing. Still wear his skirts and blouses.

Wrote to CEO, spoke to his secty etc. but QVC wanted him gone.

At the end he had some misses, but overall he was first rate. His princess seaming, fabrics, open shoulders were years, years before anyone else.

George did not do trendy....that was his problem. He was too good. Surprised Louis is still here,we’ll see.
