I agree...what is that print??

Beyond that, I love seeing the traditional dress worn by the dignitaries...and the room, carpet are exquisite!

She looks cheerful as useful!

@Witchy Woman i agree with you: it's quite the experience to see the dignitaries in their native dress. and the Queen looks like she is happily drinking in every detail. she appears to be enjoying herself. full of energy and warmth.

It looks to me like butterflies on the print but I'm not sure.

Just read the Angela Kelly book ( she is the Queen's head dresser) and it does say the Queen wears more prints in spring. Guess it is early or "pre" spring for the Queen.😄

@Nightowlz thanks for enlargement. it does kind of look like a purple rose although sometimes the color can be kind of off. she does like her flowers!

The print definetly looks better at a distance

Plaid, dots, leaves, blossoms....oh my!

Not my taste, but it looks appropriate on the Queen.

@ms traditional @Nightowlz Mother Nature and hybridization made a purple rose which smells wonderful (actually there are several but not in this form or cool color of purple). The name is Melody Perfume.
