SG fleece coat and pet hair

I have a SG fleece coat and it is very warm. But it is covered with cat hair. Lint roller doesn't take it all off. Washing it doesn't remove pet hair. Any suggestions?

How about trying tape, wrapped around your hand, stticky side out. Then you can go over the same spot, till you get it all.

Fleece is notorious for attracting pet hair--I never buy it anymore--too hard to get hair free

@traveler. I have been using the type of lint brush pictured for years and swear by them. I've had as many as 4 collies at one time so I know of what I speak. They have a Velcro-type of brush that removes the hair, then it's deposited in a compartment that you empty when full. This one came from eBay using "Lint Brush" in the search bar.

Fleece deals well with showers so I wear a lot.

The only solution I have ever found is to keep a separate wardrobe for grand dog visits.

Dressy fleece (ha) and other.

I dampen a good micro fiber cloth and use it to remove pet hair.It works for me.

I've not tried this, but read to put on a rubber glove to brush off the hair. Some spots may need to be dampened.

@traveler , I use the combo of Gleener Ultimate, Aslett's rubber brush (M118026), and lastly, a lint roller.

QVC no longer sells the Gleener, but Amazon has it. It's great!!

I use the rubber brush to remove pet hair on everything! Trick is to use short, tight strokes. This generates static and the hair wants to go to the brush.

If lint roller is too weak, try wrapping duct tape around your hand.

Edit: here's the Gleener. One end removes pilling, the other end removes hair and fuzz. I think the velvety velcro-like texture on the Gleener is the same stuff Kachina624 swears by on her lint removing gadget.

I do this too. microfiber works really well. I recently washed a load of dark clothing for one of the ladies I take care of with two navy fleece tops and there were tissues in the pocket of a pair of pants. What a mess!

The microfiber cloth worked the best.

Try running a damp sponge over it. I've had luck with this method.

You might putting in the dryer on fluff or no heat cycle with a dryer sheet. Make sure to clean your filter well.
