I agree, H20. You would think she would want to fix things so she doesn't have so many returns. Even if the sizing wound up not to be the norm for her when it all arrived from China, she could at least tell us on air ... "hey ladies, these are running small, so please order at least one size larger than you normally do" or something along those lines. She was on air for so many hours but I didn't hear her once discuss the sizing, other than to say the line about white denim usually not being as stretchy as colored denim.

There was a discussion here recently about DG's latest TSV and the other new items, but I can't find it to add my comments. Anyway, I was mainly interested in the Superstretch skinny jean (309-425 or 309-426 for pastels). It ended up being the One Time Only on the day the TS (dip dye) was presented, and I ordered 3. LOVE them! They are awesome. The sizing (as usual) is a little off, and I wish she would address the issue. I ordered 2 sizes in white, and one in indigo. The larger white fit perfectly, and so did the indigo, even though they were two different sizes. She has said that white denim will always be the least stretchy, so maybe that's why.

Anyway, they are sold out in many sizes, but if you do want to give them a try, ORDER UP a size. I love them so much that I'm keeping the white pair that is too small. Maybe I'll have some skinny days soon and they'll fit fine. There is so much stretch that the next size up would probably still look great anyway.

OK, now I'm mad. I didn't want the acid-washed TS so I didn't watch after the midnight show and missed the OTO. I really wanted them in indigo, and now they don't have my size, so I got waitlisted for the 8T when I probably should have gotten the 10R. I did order the aqua in the 10R and hope they fit. Are DG2 really smaller than they used to be? I've worn size 8 in the past and these looked like they stretch a lot in the waist, but I see some complaining reviews. I should probably cancel both while I still can, lol. So mad I missed that OTO!

edited: I just cancelled both. I'll wait to see if I can get Linea's aqua, which are cheaper, and just too shakey to go with the indigo in longer length and smaller size. I hope there's a lot of returns.

I'm sure there will be some returns, H20gal. I buy many of her jeans and thought I had the sizing figured out, but not so. This new "Superstretch" sounds like it would be big and loose, but the sizes run smaller. I was able to get this similar fabric a couple of months ago when she did Superstretch leggings and they ran small, but not as small as these. They were also in SML instead of number sizes, so it made it difficult to compare.

That's why I ordered 2 different sizes in the latest version. I like them so much, I wish I could get one in every color. I did order the aqua as soon as I received my box yesterday, because if she never repeats this style, I definitely want to have a few in my possession.

On the dip-dyed TS, well, I let her persuade me at the last minute and tried the darkest blue. On screen to me, they looked almost like solid navy so I thought I'd try a pair. Ugh. They're horrible. I'm sure she'll be getting lots of returns on that one. They were stiff, small in the waist and about 8 inches too long!

8 inches too long?!? What the heck?!? Diane really needs to get her sizing issues sorted out. I hope you got them to pay for your return shipping, because that's ridiculous.

Diane should have hinted on the midnight show that she would have a OTO the next day. Does she think we'll be watching her 24/7, especially when she quickly sold out of that jacket that she reduced to go with the strange TS? Diane is getting on my last nerve!

I have a lot of DG2 jeans purchased in the last few years, but I stopped last year because of sizing issues. I have a pair of size 10 bootcut which are actually a little too large (I had started with 12's, then had to go down to 10's, and had not lost weight). So I did order two colors of the dip dye (in both 8 and 10) just to see if they would match a couple of tops I have. I thought maybe I should go down to an 8 since my 10's are a little loose. WRONG! I could barely get the 10's on and they have almost NO stretch in the waist. The waist used to have so much stretch I could take them off without unbuttoning or unzipping. These are much smaller than the 10's I have, and 1-1/2" smaller in the hip than the garment measurements showed. So all 4 pair went back at HSN's expense!! I'm happy though because while I was shopping, I found a pair of bootcut sage green and got those for $19.95 on clearance - they are a perfect fit, although I wouldn't dare gain an ounce! I had a convenience credit of $20 that they gave me for a big problem I had with something else, so I got them for free except for shipping. So I won the day anyway!!

And very lame on HSN's part to have such a discrepancy in sizes. She was standing there pulling at the waist like it was silly putty, very misleading. All of her jeans have fit me so far, and that's across 3 different sizes! But either they have a great style with the itchy ramie (moto skinnies) or they're ready to fall off any second.(all the rest). I know what you mean about not having to unzip them, and I hate wearing a belt with jeans because it shows through your top.

The prices are not usually too great with new stuff either, because I can get designer jeans on sale at the same price. I'm glad she's doing what she's doing, and I love some of her tops, but she needs to correct these things!

Exactly, kittymom. I'm sure there are tons of returns. When she was selling the "cozy" jeans this time, she said they had all sold out when they were a TS and they just had these to sell now because a lot of people will buy a couple of sizes just to be sure they get the right size, then return the others. I guess she just assumes that's a normal thing. It's just frustrating to have to package up things to send back. It would be much better if she would get the sizing down so that EVERY jean would be the same. I don't understand why that's so difficult.

I'm beginning to sound like I don't like her jeans. I do love most of them, and the Superstretch jeans are my all-time favorite. I have them on right now and they are so soft and comfortable. I highly recommend these, but definitely SIZE UP, at least in the white!

Well, that sounds like a massive failure. I wonder if people who sent them back because of odor had to pay shipping? I'm sure many people didn't even question that. Maybe they should add "Didn't like the smell" to the list of reasons for return.

My favorites are the bootcuts with leather ties on the lower side. Very cowboyish. Those never had an odor. Some of my older ones, like the moto skinnies, still have a vague whiff, and that's after many washings.

LOL, H20.
