Per the catalog I got in the mail yesterday, on Nov 29 it's 50% off one item until noon only and 40% off entire store all day. GIft with purchase while supplies last if you spend $150 before taxes in store only. It's a pretty oversized tartan watch plaid shopping bag.

I was at Talbot's today ,exchanging my sweater. It was slightly damaged on one of the sleeves..The saleslady was so apologetic. I have never had anything like this sent to me before.

She gave me a sale flyer..I have already ordered a black watch blazer, she told me if I call to get a price reduction on my jacket ,I should come to the store and used my discount there too. She said it is perfectly fine to do this...I never have before, but it is something I might consider

I returned something to a T store yesterday and only spent a few minutes looking around but wow they put out a lot of new things since I was there a few days ago. I didn't have a lot of time and only lingered at the new jewelry but there were so many pieces I liked! Among them a really pretty mistletoe pin and a silver tone pin with crystal dangles hanging from it.

I received my catalog this afternoon. Right now I'm tempted to get the cashmere Audrey sweater and stretch crepe wide leg pants. I also like the sherpa fleece jacket.

*sigh* I’ll be at my mother’s for the weekend. The Talbots there doesn’t carry my jumbo plus size. The next closest store is 100 miles away.

I just received my catalogue in the mail. What I really dislike about Talbots is how they play around with their prices. It is annoying and I don't have the time to be chasing down the lowest price. It's a game with them and annoying....

@Pearlee , I wonder if that applies to the website also? I just got my Talbots credit card today in the mail if I need it to get a further discount on clothes.

@crawford5153. Just now got a post card about black Friday and yes the discounts will appear in your shopping bag online. The 50% off is til noon your time. The Tartan bag GWP is only in stores.

Also T will be debuting a limited edition Tartan Collection

So I went to Ts last might to try on the lavender coat. It is a no-go for me. The collar is much too high and stiff and the wool was a little itchy. Now I have my eye on a same color beautiful chenille sweater. I'm loving that shade of purple for winter....definitely cheery. And I love an off-white hat with crystal snowflakes on it.

@Pearlee Thank you for mentioning the lavender stadium coat. I've had my eye on it and am waiting for Black Friday. I love the color and love the red one as well. The neck will work but based on your comments, I am worried it will be itchy! I'll have to take a look at the sweater you mentioned because I adore the color as well.

My blazer is going back to Talbots. The sleeves are cut so strange it feels like a straight jacket...

I couldn't beleive it was delivered today by the PO...It wasn't packed in a box as prevoius jackets were ,and it is a bit creased..It is made in Jordan ,so if you have something with strange sleeves, remember Viet Nam and now jordan. The shoulders looked strange too

Sorry it didn't work for you, @cherry , but I wouldn't discount all items from Jordan just based on one bad experience.
