Where are all the truly rain resistant rain coats

Been looking for a truly rain resistent rain coat full legnth like Goretex that is cloth lined . Most of waht you see is rain repellant that just beads off water during light showers . Most of the light repellent one you become soaked through to your clothes in the early spring rains or you sweat horribly from no inner cloth lining . I don't see the old London Fog quality coats .

Really easy to find. All that I list below are really waterproof.

I bought a black waterproof raincoat from LandsEnd, and bright yellow slicker from Totes website, Just recently I bought a white waterproof white jacket from LandsEnd.

I have a dressy purple one that I bought years ago (store no longer in business.)

I got one in the Spring from LL Bean. It was over $100 even with a discount, but well worth it. It's waterproof.

Thanks for mentioning Totes, @ALRATIBA . My raincoat is from Totes and is well over 20 years old....it was about $8 on clearance at QVC. It is still in perfect shape....but frankly, I am tired of it lol! Went to their website got a pretty lined blush colored one, with the wildflowers bucket hat and umbrella. 20% off and free shipping! My old one will be donated!

I am heading to Europe in August and I am looking for the same thing. Nordstrom rack is having some really good sales, some 75% off right now online.

I am looking for:

Packable

truly waterproof like you are,

I’d like a detachable hood that has a drawstring so it stays on even if it’s windy,

and it is longer than just a jacket.

What’s really frustrating is I am spoiled by QVC because they have their “click here” that has the exact measurements of items. So I’m not sure of all of these sizes I am finding. Looks like I’m gonna have to head to the outlet mall.

I have a good one from Calvin Klein also. It's probably the best one I have ever had as far as being water resistant, and I love the style too.

My only complaint is that it could be a bit longer (it does have a hood too).

My husband and I are having the same issue but not with the water repellent or resistant but with full-length?! They're not so easy to find! Just yesterday we stopped in to Bass Pro and they had plenty of jackets and water-resistant pants but no full length coats. Our next stop will be a marine supply store

We had some torrential rain just last week and while I was perfectly dry from my head to my hip my pants were completely soaked just getting in and out of the car and walking into the office!

I'm finding full-length coats to be more difficult to find for any kind of weather. I agree with the others who have suggested LL Bean and Land's End are good places to check. Also, try Pendleton's brand website. FYI: in 2018, I came upon a below the knee ;ength London Fog water-resistent raincoat (with a removal warm liner) from their brand website. I had not seen the coat anywhere which carries London Fog, so I was delighted to find a classic trench raincoat in a full length. Adding a cherry on top, the coat was not expensive.
