Great Finds...Wonderful Deals @ Kohl's!

Just wanted to share some positive things....I found some really awesome deals the last week @ Kohl's...had a 30% of coupon also so that helped plus K-cash to LOL!

Even though I got physically so wore out one day trying to go thur all the clearance racks looking for deals on dress pants I did find 2 really nice ones I needed...the few I do own don't fit me anymore. I didn't want to pay much and one pair was as little as 8.80! the other a truly nice dockers pair of light grey pants only 20.00...no altering needed in length.

Finally today I went one last time as I wanted to browse the ladies coats more...and I found a beautiful white/black Zero Exposure coat. It's such great quality...it was more pricey on clearance @72 but I had $30 K-cash + 30% off so for just $30 I picked this up too. I love it...haven't owned a white coat since I was a little girl (that's a long time ago LOL).

I like to try and find some of the better made name brands on clearance like this....the week before was for my sons...we looked at all clearence shirts/coats and same thing...great deals...got my one son a Zero Expousure Men's coat it is so nice and a screaming deal too.

I love Kohls too but have found out recently that with returns they do not give you the same price as you originally paid. For that reason, I shop elsewhere. I had 50 dollars worth of returns and the merchandise credit was for only 33 dollars. My returns at other stores were not like this.

This has never been my experience there. Did you use Kohl's cash as part of your original purchase? That would impact the amount you get back.

I like shopping at Kohls-but pretty much only on line. Yes, I'm sure there are deals I could get in the store, but the store is often overwhelming to me! At least on line I can type in exactly what I'm looking for. I do agree that you can get some good deals--especially with that 30% coupon.

Dumb question, probably: Can I combine my 30% with $10 Kohl's cash?

I agree with second poster. Also, if you don't have a receipt or a gift receipt they give you the amount the items sells for at the time of return.

DH & I went to Kohl's today. I had a 30% coupon and got a really nice top for under $4.47 Original price was $30. Then I went to JCP and got another $35 top for $4.97. I ended up the last store and got a nice cardigan with nice cable knit for $7.99. It is light weight so I can wear it in the spring & fall. Then we had a nice lunch at an Italian restaurant. I am beat now so we are going to watch the Olympics tonight. We celebrated my birthday 3 weeks late, as it was so cold then that we couldn't get out of the house.

I shopped at kohls a lot in the past but the store closest to me is so hard to deal with. They Have a lot more clothing racks than there is room for. You can't even get in between some of them to even look at the clothing so it is just a mess. Also too many things on a rack...so any shopping there for me is online

I think you and I both bought the same Dockers gray pants! Don't they fit great! Mine didn't need altering either. I also bought the same style in black and blue. They were hard to find, I had to go to a different couple stores, but it was definitely worth it. I went online and bought the same pants in dark green, too. I bought another pair of black and brown pants, pretty sure the brown pants are going back. I tend to overbuy (due to clearance and discounts), try on the stuff at home and then return what really doesn't work. I also bought four shirts and two tank tops. Overall a great haul! I haven't been shopping in a very long time so I am glad I ventured out and stocked up. Great prices. I love Kohl's.

Not a fan of Kohl's and not impressed with the quality! Have never understood the hype.

I don't think that you are truly getting a deal on clothing even with Kohl's cash and coupons (?) because the quality is lacking. You get what you pay for there.

I enjoy shopping at Kohl's and have gotten many good quality clothes. Some good deals too.

Just like anyplace you shop there are nice pieces and cheap pieces. Just have to pick and choose. I for one will not pay an outrageous amount for my clothes because I don't need to do that. I have some very nice pieces and I shop all over.

When I use Kohl's cash I make sure what I buy is not going to be returned. I have hardly ever returned anything I have ever purchased locally. I pretty much know what I buy is what I want.

I shop the better clothing...Nike for my grandson, Chaps etc!! I got a Nike Jogging Outfit for him for ten bucks!

They have some nice lines and some cheap stuff. You can tell. I have had great luck at finding great deals at Kohls.

When I use Kohls Cash I too, make sure it is for something I won't bring back BUT in the past when I have - I was offered and accepted the choice of store credit instead..

Works for me.

As for returns without a receipt..You can look up the item on any credit card if you used one..but other then that you do get the last sale price..it is only fair I think. Other stores do the same thing. You get the price of the item that it was sold lowest at. I think they are being fair in taking a return like that anyway.

Also, if you used a coupon that is also taken into consideration. I think they are very fair in their returns and Kohls Cash. After all it is free store credit, so it wouldn't be right or fair for us to make money off of it.

I also bought a Shark Lift Away Steamer for my floor on sale for $149. Granted it was more then Walmart BUT I had 30% off and another $10 off $30 text they sent me and my son gave me his Kohls Cash..lol!! ..so it was much cheaper then anyplace.

In regard to earlier question...I bought 4 items, used Kohls cash and a coupon. I knew the coupon would effect the return...no problem there. What I didn't get was them deducting the whole 10 dollars kohls cash when there were 4 items bought and only 2 items returned. I also shop at Bealls and when they have a 10 dollar off 25 dollar purchase, they will list the return credit right on the receipt...and it is prorated among the items purchased, if that makes sense. They (Bealls) also give you the price you purchased versus the current store price. Again, I can understand this from a business standpoint but other stores return policies are more customer friendly making the shopping experience there more attractive IMO.
