While the vest and long sleeved shirt are pretty I have no use for them. Maybe 2-3 times a year would be about it. Any other time it would be to warm. I would wear the pants and the shoes.

I have a similar vest from Old Navy but I don’t like the pants or shoes. I wear mine occasionally but more likely paired with skinny jeans and my blue Converse Chucks.

I like it a lot, but. I am sticking with the non iron tops. They are magic ,and I hate wrinkles. I wouldn't mind a pr of chinos

I never wear vests of any kind. Maybe it’s because I had to wear them for 12 years as part of my school uniform. I have tried a few but just not my style. I think they can look cute on others. I would replace the vest with a hoodie, cardigan, or casual jacket.

I already have shoes similar to these. I would consider the pants. I don’t wear many button downs, but if I saw a print I loved I would try it on.

It's too preppy looking. One reason I've never purchased anything from Talbot. Speaking of which, at one point they were going to close, but the last time I look, the store was still there. They must recovered from their losses a few years ago.

Yes. I just looked at Wikipedia for them. A large company bought them out. Glad they are doing well. But seriously at our mall they almost closed.

That's pretty much what I wear unless it's very cold and I need more than a vest. A couple of years ago Denim & Co. had a TSV that was a reversible vest...quited satin on one side, a very soft faux fur on the other. I got it in black, burgundy, rose and silvery gray. I've worn those vests to death.

I don't know why I don't shop with them. They were next to Nordstrom in my mall. Just never went there. Then I saw a few things online that looked too preppy. I'll try them. I've stopped shopping at stores I used to frequent. I no longer shop at Banana Republic or White House Black Market. Don't really now why either!

I rarely ever went into Talbots. I bought a pair of shoes once many years ago. I liked Ann Taylor when I worked but not the styles they now show.

I used to shop a chain of stores called Gantos, they had private label, JNY, Liz C. when their lines were quality and they sold evening/special event gowns too. I worked there PT as well.

I like most of the tops and sweaters I've bought from Talbots, but they seem to have changed their sizing, at least my size, so that the fit is too large. Since I wear a PP, I can't size down. Maybe they'll come up with a PPP :-), but I doubt it.

@songbirdYou need to go to a Talbot's Outlet. Most of what I wear is from there if you see my pictures. I'm much more fashion forward and the top stylist.
